Dr. Steven Kloeris Violated the Standard of Care
by ChuckStockdale at Citysearch
On April 3, 2009, the Texas Medical Board issued a Disciplinary Order against doctor Kloeris stating that he violated the standard of care in the treatment of three patients, one who died the day after being prescribed 60 hydrocodone and 90 Xanax by Kloeris for a staph infection.
An autopsy performed on the 23 year old patient (Charles Stockdale) by the Harris County Medical Examiner confirmed cause of death as toxic combination of Xanax, hydrocodone, and valium.
Another patient mentioned in the Disciplinary Order was given 15-25 injections of demerol by doctor Kloeris. The patient became addicted and almost died.
For more information on this and to read the Disciplinary Order Google "doctor Kloeris" and click in "doctorkloerisinfo" website.

There is a newspaper article in the Bay Area Citizen about the actions taken against Kloeris by the Board. To see, Google "Kloeris Bay Area Citizen: then click on LINKS
In my opinion, this doctor has gone from being a healer, to being a dealer. He has violated the Hippocratic Oath "Do NO Harm" to patients, and the Medical Board confirmed this by ruling that he violated the standard of care in treating three patients.
- Pros: There are no pros about this doctor.
- Cons: Doctor Kloeris was reprimanded by Texas State Medical Board
Best physician I have ever used. Great Bedside manner, will discuss any problem or medical condition

Dr. Steve Kloeris has been my doctor for over 20 years. When he moved to Gulf Coast Medical group, I moved with him!! It is easy to discuss medical situation, latest research pertaining to my conditions, holistic health etc. with him. He cares and tries to help, unlike many other DRs. who are blunt and in a hurry. His mannerisms are what should be taught and used-- that of concern with the empathic quality, along with the willingness to talk with the patient ( client) in a humanistic quality. This ability is lacking in many physicians. He is great!!!
He knows when to "turf" a problem to a specialist if he feels that a specialist will better able to handle the problem.
- Pros: READ REVIEW Best M.D. I have had.
- Cons: communication doesn't always get to physician in appropriate manner ( timely and in correct context
