A must-try!!...CHEAP, HUGE & INCREDIBLE. hands-down the Best Tamales I have ever had anywhere.

I'm a tamale fanatic, but have always been disappointed or only moderately satisfied by the tamales at other Houston establishments (any time there are tamales on the menu...I order them...over a dozen restaurants I've sampled by now.).

Dona Tere tamales are by far, BY FAR, the best tamales I have ever had at a restaurant. They are the most moist, fluffy, and flavorful tamales you can ever imagine. and they are HUGE (3-4 times larger than usual ones). AND! they are barely over a dollar each...recession has not found it's way to Dona Tere's amazing tamale kitchen!!
