Not so fast.. Yes, sometimes you can find great clothes here - BUT BE WARNED: THERE ARE NO DRESSING ROOMS AND YOU CAN'T RETURN ANYTHING. other than that - be sure to wash EVERYTHING in hot soapy water - even if it has tags on it. Bugs. Ugh.

best value in town.
Value Village on Gessner is by far the best thrift store I've found in Houston. The prices on clothing is unbelievably low. I have found high quality, gently used (or even UNUSED) skirts, shirts, jeans, maternity clothing, etc. for literally 75 cents, $1, $2 or $3. I bought a "name brand" pair of shoes for only $4 and it looked like they had never been worn.
They have housewares, clothing, books, toys, draperies, sheets, towels and TONS of baby clothes. I furnished my daughter's entire newborn wardrobe from Value Village and only paid about $30. Blankets, socks, bibs, crib sheets, hats, onesies, clothes, gowns, outfits, you name it!
Check back frequently if you don't see what you need/want; overturn is quick. Each day they offer a different item for 50% off (such as one day, all women's clothes 50% off, the next day, all toys 50% off, etc.) I have never left empty-handed.
