I just bought a brand new car, and had CJ Sounds install a new radio, satellite receiver, and rear camera. This is the third receiver that CJ Sounds has installed, and they do so at a fair price, excellent quality, and in a timely fashion.

I plan to go for an alarm system, and they have a great selection to choose from.

I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. I received an estimate from Kevin for the following to be installed, along with other stuff: component Diamond speakers in front and diamond speakers in rear. Everything was installed in my truck, or so I thought. I recently got a new car and had everything pulled out of my truck. Lo and behold they (CJ Sounds) did not install what I paid for. They only installed one pair of Diamond speakers (in the front - not components) and some off brand in the rear. So they essentially took my money and told me they put a product in, but did not do that. In my book that is wrong. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE.

My wife and I bought a 2011 Cadillac Escalade and did not get the rear seat entertainment package due to the cost. We went into Cj Sounds Car Stereo and talked to Kevin and he explained the different options for our truck. We ended up going with a set of 9" headrests with built in dvds, wireless head phones, a video game port and a module that allows us to work the factory navigation and dvd while the truck is in drive. I am very impressed with the quality of the products, the friendly staff and the outstanding work. I am thankful that we took our friends advice and went to Cj Sounds, we priced out a similar system at Car Toys and would have spent $1125 more! I would recommend this business to anyone that is considering getting work done to their vehicle.

Let me clear this up for Kevins shop. I have a shop next door to Cj Sounds on Gessner. They have always been a good friend and always taken care of their customers. I have even seen Kevin take customers home or to the mall! After talking to Kevin he hasn’t heard from any customer unhappy with anything that he installed. When he has customers that are unsatisfied with anything believe me they call him! Furthermore Kevin says that he did not have a customer with the name Ramon in the past 1 yr. So Ramon post a receipt online for all of the readers to see or move on and get a life. Kevin is trying to run a legitimate business and do right by the community.

TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!BEZEL GLUED ON. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I TOOK MY CAR HERE TO GET A DUOLBLE DIN INSTALLED THINKING I WOULD BE TAKING CARE OF SEEING AS HOW I PUT OUT $650 FOR THE DOUBLE DIN AND INSTLL!!!!!!!!!!! I WAS WRONG I DONT TRUST ANYONE WITH MY VEHECLE NOW I WENT TO MY DEALERSHIP SO GET MY CLUSTER LIGHTS LOOKED AT AND THEY TELL ME MY BEZEL WONT COME OFF AND ITS GLUED ON WTF!!!!!!!!!! THE FIRST TIME AFTER THE INSTALL I HAD TO TAKE IT BACK CAUSE KEVIN TOLD ME THE BEZEL HAD TO BE SANDED DOWN WHEN ALL THEY DID WAS GLUE VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS SHOPS WORK MAYBE I WASNT LUCKY BUT I WOULD NOW RECOMMEND KEVIN AND CHICO ...THANK YOU KEVIN I THOUGHT I WAS GETTIING WHAT I PAIDED FOR BY COMMING TO YOU BUT APPARENTLY NOW

1955 Chevy Bellaire. After reading some of the comments I wanted to add my experience with this shop:

I read the reviews online and decided to go to the store to check it out and spoke with the owner Kevin. I have a 1955 Chevy Bellaire and I came in just wanting an alarm. There staff went the extra mile making sure that the major workings of the alarm were completely hidden. The alarm works great and is even hooked up to my cell phone to alert me if my car has been tampered with. They then took pictures and brought to my attention that there was some dangerous wiring under the dash and hood that needed to be taken care of. They rewired the car and even put in a new instrument cluster. Since the first time I went in I have gone back four different times to have more work done! These guys are the real McCoy and I would recommend anyone that wants a quality job to come to CJ Sounds on Gessner. Thanks Chico and Kevin!!

Can we quit with the games. I will make this quick - We run a professional shop and work on some of the most high end cars. To see our work check out our Website cjsoundscarstereo, where we work on cars (just last week) ranging from a 1955 Chevy Bellaire to a 2010 C300 Mercedes. In this business as I have stated before you will have competition write negative reviews to make a shop look bad. So from a writer that calls him or herself Worseserviceever, I have to say get a life and do not waste our time needing to respond to these words. IF we had done any work on your car why did you not include the kind of car or exactly what work we did for you??? It is sad that all of the hard work that my family and installers have done for the community can be tarnished with someone with a computer and vendetta. Also take a look at some of our pictures that have came out of this shop. Thank you.

Worst Service Ever!!!!. I gave them one star because I did not want anyone to think I just forgot to rate them. I am going to make this short and sweet. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! I had them put a radio in my car and they completely destroyed my car. After FIVE attempts to fix I will now have to take them to small claims court. Learn from my mistake. Shop around and please don't go here!

Quick, professional service.. I purchased a car stereo and installation through Crutchfield. CJ Sounds was the most convenient approved local installer.

CJ's responded quickly to my initial inquiry and were ready to go at my appointment time. The installation was quick and professional.

Saved me twice. When I visited Cj Sounds I was looking for Tint and a simple radar detector. I was informed of a new system that has sensors front and rear and is completely hidden. The manager told me that the system also warns you of "Hot spots" and has GPS location built in. I was worried that this would interfere with the factory warranty but was assured that they run their own wiring.

Anyways the tint made my car look so much nicer and the radar detector was a great investment and has already saved me twice! I would recommend this store to anyone they had great service and the price was a little cheaper than I found elsewhere after the fact.
