Watch out Kids Policy. 5901 Hillcroft St, Houston, Texas 77036

Hi all: Last Friday 4/22/11, I went to Sabri Nihari with my family. We were 4 adults and 2 kids under age of 15 years and two kids were 2, and 3years.

I am frequent visitor of Sabir Nihari in Houston, TX. In the past I never pay attention on their billing/invoice. Typically most of the restaurant display sign about kid’s age policy. I did not see any sign of such policy there. When I received my bill I notice they charged 1/2 price Buffets for my 2, and 3 years old kids. I was little surprised to see that and went to see manager to clarification of invoice.

I found manager was highly unprofessional in talking and in my personal opinion he should not be posted as a manager capacity there. I told him that I am frequent customer and I honestly I never pay any attention on my pervious bill but surprised to see that you are charging for my two kids I even said I do not mind paying you but they should be cleared in their policy.

The manager very arrogantly replied that this is our policy and I cannot do anything because I have rent and electric and other bill to pay. I said to him no problem you can take my money however; I will not come again to your place and will file this news on internet.

seriously not recommended. oh man.....worst worser woreset................... food in ever had in my life......i felt like pukin there itself...not even a single dish was atleast OK....sorry to say...no hard feelin.,,,dont eat out there ......

Nice Variety for a desi restaurant .... hmm well ... I am new to Houston and tried out this restaurant. I was quite pleasantly surprised at the buffet they provide and the several varieties of the meats on offer. They also had fruits & fruit salads. I dont mind shelling out $11 for such a buffet ... The Halim was probably not up to the mark but the Nihari, Chinese & lollipops were good. The fried rice was fine too .. The Biryani could do with some improvement though. All in all a good value for your money.

WORST DESI FOOD AND HIGHLY UNRECOMMENDABLE WORST FOOD. Hey guys, the management, chefs, and cooks, have been changed, b4 it used to be a very delicious food dont even worth trying the food over here and moreover the atmosphere at the restaurant over here is very unpleasant not suitable for the familes, the workers uses profanic language at the restaurant dont waste your money and dont suffer with your hunger try the new sabri nihari ,,,,thanks
