Not the best, but pretty good!. I've gone to this restaurant a handful of times and always have a good experience. It's very cheap, so I think you get what you pay for. The food is good but not the best... same goes for the margaritas. However, I couldn't afford to keep going to other tex-mes places down i-10, and La Fiesta is a good substitute.

Stay far, far away from this place. We just moved into the neighborhood and thought we'd try the local tex-mex place -- big mistake. We both got sick, even though we ordered very different meals. The fajitas were far too spicy to eat. The chips were burnt, the service was slow, and we will never go there again.

Now I know why there were so many empty tables in the place -- most people know to avoid La Fiesta on Katy Freeway at Kirkwood.

Fair to good Tex-mex but strange mngr.. I noticed this particular La Fiesta just recently opened and wanted to give it a try since I love tex-mex. I ordered the chicken and beef enchiladas which arrived fairly fast and really hot. But I had a bit of a problem when ordering because the waitress seems not to understand very much english, but she got a waiter who did, so no big deal.

The enchiladas were fair to good. I would not say the best I ever had in Houston, but good enough. However, they were kind of on the small size. The chips and salsa were good and with a nice touch they heated the salsa which did make it a little better than what you usually get elsewhere.

When it came time to pay, I ponied up to the cashier but for some reason him did not seem very happy to seem me. I don't think it was anything I said or did because I never been here before and other than the waiters I never even spoke to anyone, but nevertheless I was treated coldly and not even a "thank you" after I paid.
