Exceptional Singer at the Hogg. Heard Joel G sing at Tommy's Seafood and Steak last Wednesday with Bob H at the Piano. This guy has an incredible voice and presence. A group of ladies across me were in rapt attention and seemed to be in their little fantasy world.

This is the same guy that host the open mic at Elegant Hogg on Tuesday. While he is a good instrumentalist, I think he is really more enjoyable when a pianist is backing him up. At any rate, you will like whatever he does.

Martinis and music. What a local gem! This place had a cozy and familiar atmosphere that anyone who enjoys a non-smoking, relaxed environment would enjoy. The owner/manager, Svetla, offers up yummy paninis and pizza - created and baked fresh! The back room has a small stage and dance floor for the steady stream of Texas bands. Smokers have a covered sitting area outside where they can still hear the band. I had Svetla's specialty - a martini, yummy!
