HORRIBLE SERVICE !!!!!!!. The service at this place was HORRIBLE!! I was really excited because I just moved close by and really wanted seafood. I went during lunch with my boyfriend and my baby and we sat outside. We literally sat for twenty minutes and not one person came to ask us what we wanted to drink, we didnt even get a childrens menu. There was a group sitting outside and the waiter came out to assist them and just looked at us. So we ended up leaving and I went up to the front to tell someone and the same girl that sat us down asked me if I wanted a table..Seriously??!! I've never received such bad service and I could not even get an apology out of anyone, all I got was a deer in the headlights stare. Disappointed and NEVER going back.

Family Owned Jewel. We drove from Bryan to try Snapper Jack's and loved not only the food, but also the fact that this is a family owned restaurant. Their Seafood Jalapeno appetizer, which is specially priced during Happy Hour, is so different and delicious. We tried the New Orleans Tilapia, Pecan Fish Bites, Fried Shrimp, Blackened Shrimp, Seafood Gumbo, and Shrimp Fried Rice. And, this only scratches the surface of what they have to offer! Everything was perfectly prepared and served hot with a variety of homemade sauces. They served a different sauce with the Shrimp Jalapenos and the Pecan Crusted Fish, and make delicious Tartar sauce and Red Cocktail sauce as well. We found the people who took care of us to be friendly, attentive, and efficient. We can't wait to try the Parmesan Crusted Fish and Coconut Shrimp when we return.

Best Seafood in Town. I have been eating lunch there for over a year and it?s always excellent.

They have some very interesting things that are out of the ordinary, like their fish taco and their pinto beans (you have to try them to know what I mean). Their seasoning is perfect and not overdone.

It?s like the old country cafe that you used to find in most small towns in Texas. I keep going back because I am never disappointed by their friendly staff make me feel so at home.

Amazing lunch!. For the price, this is a pretty great seafood place. In fact, I can't figure out how they're making any money. Their lunch specials are cheaper than a cafeteria combo platter, but are large portions of seafood with a choice of sides and fresh vegetables. I wish I worked closer - I'd be there every day.

Hidden Jewel In Houston!!!!!!. This restaurant is one of the hidden jewels of Houston, family owned with the best food. All seafood is fresh and made to order with a great selection of homemade sides from hand battered onion rings to delicious stir fried shrimp rice. Our whole family decided to meet and try this place recommended by a friend and we fell in love with how delicious the food is right down to the homemade coleslaw. We ordered the fried shrimp and fish filets and some of the house specialties and we had to say the food was to die for. It was so nice to find a restaurant that still knows what great fresh food is. Our server was great, friendly and anticipated our needs with out having to ask. We plan to return as often as possible. Thanks for a great evening and a great restaurant for our family to enjoy.

Bad Food, Bad Experience. My husband and I drove past this restaurant for over a year before trying it. It is a converted Burger King building, and it has been open for several years at this point, and always seemed to have several cars in the parking lot, so we thought it might be a good risk. We were wrong.

I'm not sure why there are always people there - the wait for the food was ridiculous (over half an hour), and when we got it the food was greasy and bland. The coleslaw was decent, but the meal itself was not good. The service was bad (they ignored us in favor of another large family - we were standing RIGHT at the counter), the restaurant was LOUD (lots of out of control kids), and the meals themselves were very overpriced. My husband said he'd had better frozen fish than what we got there.

The interior of the restaurant is decent for fast food, but they also have an oyster bar - which is out in the seating area - and STINKS if you sit too near it. (and I don't think it's supposed to be that smelly).

We may have just had a rare bad meal and visited them on a bad day, but we have absolutely no interest in giving them a second chance - it was that bad.
