Good Dermatologist, Hi I am an International Medical Graduate currently in the USA taking usmle step exams.I had severe dryness of my hands and foreskin and i consulted Dr.Laborde.The staff were good and the doctor was very friendly.He carefully examined my entire body and genitals and diagnosed me as having atopic dermatitis.I was worried as back in india one of the dermatologists gave a doubtful diagnosis of psoriasis.He took time for me to explain the difference between the two and alos gave a rationale of why he is giving me the prescribed medicines.I am very much satisfied with his service and bed side manner and i never faced any problem with my insurance.

Highly Recommend - Great Dermatologist. Dr Laborde is one of the most caring, compassionate and honest physicians I have ever gone to. I had a large red knot on the bridge of my nose. I have had skin cancer before and was so worried the spot was cancer. Dr Laborde recommended treating with a medication and waiting a month to see if knot cleared up. Thankfully I got better and don't have a scar on my face from an unnecessary "test". If you want a conservative, honest, compassionate expertise, he is the doctor for you.

Useless if have an actual medical issue.
I went in with an actual concern about something going on with my skin. After I waited 30-40 minutes in the exam room for the doctor, he stayed about 3 minutes. I showed him the weird spots on my skin, he looked at them with his naked eye, and basically said, "well it might be x, it might not be. i could treat it as x, or i could not treat it. the treatment may help, or may not. it might make it worse. or you can wait and see if it goes away." REALLY?? THANKS! And he was gone.
I'm sure if I had wanted botox or a peel, he would have been very, very interested. Or perhaps some high-end products.
I've since gone to a real dermatologist, who actually looked at my skin through a magnifier. Talked to me for a a while, patiently. Had three possibilities that she thought it might be, none of which were "x." And she ordered a test, to be sure she wasn't missing anything.

Wonderful Doctor. Dr. Laborde did my cosmetic procedure himself! He took the time to discuss what was best for me and I felt he was sincerely interested in what was best for me. I highly recommend Dr. Laborde.

Best dermatologist. The staff was very friendly and the doctor had a great bedside manner. I was able to get in for an appointment with in a few days and did not have to wait long once I was there. I highly recommend Dr. Laborde!
