Didn't even get to eat. I'd love to tell you about Applebee's, but after sitting at our table for 10 minutes without anyone coming by to take our drink order or even say "someone will be right with you", we left. It wasn't even that busy. We walked over to Chili's where people actually waited on us.
great staff. my husband and i were impressed when we went in and saw that the hostess and wait staff seemed happy to be working there. are waitress was wonderful she recommend dishes and she nailed them and did an outstanding job we will be going back.
Good simple American food. I am not going to lie, Applebee's is delicious, well to me that is, and I am picky and hard to please! My husband and I usually order any of their burgers, and are always left nearly stuffed!! However on our last visit, everything was fine until I tried to pay by my debit card, and my card was NOT accepted. Um, ok. Yeah, I have plenty of money, so I am not one of those fools that will try to charge something knowing that I don't have money to cover my bill. I even called my card to see if there was a freeze on my account since I have used it a lot lately, and there was no freeze. Seems to me that now it was something on their end. I called, spoke to the mgr, and he's really sorry to see that we had felt it was poor service. This is for the location off Katy Fwy, I am posting it here because they don't have a location listed for this restaurant.
Do not enter.
This place should be ashamed of themselves.What terrible service.

Was so happy when we found out then where opening but that faded fast.
Avoid a restaurant with an empty parking lot!.
My wife wanted to come to Applebee's on her birthday. As we arrived we noted that all the other restaurants in the general area had more cars in their lots. That should've warned us.
When we arrived inside, we were the only folks in the entry area, yet we were not greeted for a couple of minutes. There was a person there with her back to us, absorbed in something. After being seated, we had to wait for a while - almost 5 minutes before a waitperson showed up at out table.
As we already had the menus from the hostess, we placed the iced tea request and our orders right then.
Another 5 minutes of so passed and the waiter finally showed up with the iced tea (maybe they had to freeze some ice....?). Advised us that the food should be ready soon. Quite a while later, he showed up with my wife's order and apologized that my order had been dropped on the floor and they were remaking the dish.
The Manager shows up in another 5 minutes, apologizes and asked if we'd like some bread. Sure. Two pieces of garlic bread arrive in another few minutes. Finally my order arrives (by this time, we've been there for a while - beginning to approach 30 minutes. Remember - we ordered as soon as the waiter showed up. They comped us a dessert to go. Then I had to flag down the waiter to get our check.
- Ignored us upon arriving
- Made us wait a while to see a waiter
- Made us wait for tea/water
- Brought one order out way in advance of the other
- Made small amends for any of this
- Made us wait for the check
- Didn't really seem to matter much to anyone there!!
They got it wrong so many ways that there is no incentive for us to return. Ever.
