TOO EXPENSIVE. The food is exactly like Cafe Express except the people at Cafe Express or really nice and so helpful. The owner, I guess her name would be Shandy is the the rudest person I have ever dealt with for someone who owns a business and should rely on the customer's for it. She never smiles, or thanks you she just about throws the menu at you when you sit down. I will never, ever eat at this place again nor will I ever recommend it to anyone.
Local Gem. This is one of my favorite spots in Houston. It is a hidden gem, and relies on word of mouth business because the front is non-suspect. The inside is always very clean, and it has an open kitchen area so you can see your food being prepared. The menu has variety but 90% of the time I go for the turkey burger. It is hands down the best I've ever had. The service, which is usually Shandy and one other woman, is always friendly. This is a great place to grab lunch or have a casual, low-key dinner.
tiny local spot with great food and friendly people. This place doesn't look like much from the outside, but when you venture in you find a diverse menu and friendly people. Everything I have tried here is excellent - I recommend the guacamole - the "Sassy" chips are amazingly good. It is really tiny, but pretty quick even when busy. Don't forget to say hi to Shandy as she is most likely the one serving the delious food!
