“Horrible customer service!”
The worst experience ever.
Update:
Recently, my scooter broke down and Matt came by to pick me up and fix the scooter. I believe, I was too harsh the first time around and that is why I have increased my rating.
Hi all,
The reason I gave one star is because there was nothing lower than this.
I purchased Aprilia Sportcity from Matt more than 6 months back. The very next day the blinkers on the right side melted because of hot exhaust fumes. I went back to him and he told me that it happens and there is a kit that he can install. Multiple trips and phone calls resulted in nothing. He said he will call me but he never called.
I then contacted Aprilia in August who told me he should have never sold it to me in the first place as installation of the kit is a requirement. They then ordered the kit and I got a call from Matt for the first time. He told me he will give me a call when he receives it.
I kept calling every other week. Never heard from him. 3-4 weeks back he said he got the kit and I can come any time to get my scooter fixed.
I went in 2 weeks back and he told me he got the kit but doesnt have blinkers and that the blinkers have been ordered. I left the scooter and went back a week later. He then told me that the blinkers did not arrive because of the bad weather and that he can show me the order number. I asked him to show it to me. He then made another random excuse of not having the order number. Guys, my scooter is still with him. I may never get my scooter back. I just talked to a customer service agent at Aprilia and they said they will try to help me.
Please dont do business with this guy. He talks sweet but I have never seen a bigger liar and a person more irresponsible. I bought scooter from him as he gave a big discount but I made a big mistake. Dont repeat my mistake...
Horrible Customer Service! THEY LIE!. My boss bought 4 Segways from the business and they customer services was nothing but wonderful! He uses his Segway's at work, home, and just about everywhere he can. It is great for getting around when you have bad knees. That was until we needed at Segway Key ordered. First, it took forever to get someone to answer the phone or to respond to a voice mail. We started calling early July, once we finally got a hold of someone, July 23rd, they directed us to their service department, and again we could not get anyone to answer or return our phone calls. On August 8, 2009 we finally were able to talk to the right person and order the Key needed. We were told that it should take 4 weeks for the Key to be ready. It needed to be programmed for the correct Segway with the serial number. On Sept 10th we called to find out the update on our order, I was then informed that our order was not sent out until Aug. 20th because they needed to have more than one order for shipment. We expected that on Aug 8th when our order was taken it would be sent out the following day. We were waiting for information about our shipment that never came. We would not have had a problem with them not sending our order out until they had enough orders to go on the shipment had they informed us. We called again on Sept. 24 to follow up on our order to find out the estimated arrival for our part. They said that it is expected to arrive in about 2 weeks. Oct 9th comes around and we do another follow up call to Apollo and our part is still expected to arrive in about 2 weeks. It has now been 2 months of waiting for a part that we were told would only take 4 weeks to send out, program, and deliver back. During this time, I called another store not affiliated with Apollo Scooters. I was then told that the average time to get a Segway key is about 8 weeks. Apollo lied to us saying it only took 4 weeks. Do not trust them when they give a time frame! GO SOME WHERE ELSE!
