Can't Stay Away. I first went to Howard several years ago when training for my first marathon - he was a genius. After moving down the street from the relaxing cottage, I decided to take my boyfriend there for a couples massage. Well a year or two later, it was still wonderful. I can't believe I stayed away as long as I did. Howard makes you feel very comfortable, and really does a great job. My boyfriend had Lilly and was very happy with her. We are now trying to go every month. If you haven't tried Village Massage . . . call now . . .like right now! You won't be sorry.

Experience the best Professional massage!. Village massage is the best Professional massage I have ever had out of all the places I have ever experience. The place is set in a very nice house that has been transformed into a very comfortable atmosphere. The rooms are so clean and quiet and relaxing. Lilly my massage therapist was very careful to listen to my aches and pains to understand what needed to be worked on my body. This therapist knows how to use her hands very professionally and proficiently to work every muscle and knot and really knows how to feel each spot that has a problem. I highly recommend her as she knows how to use her hands very well to find and work out those muscles. I really love this place and like this massage therapist!

THEY TRULY SET THE BAR!. I wanted to surprise my boyfriend with a couples massage on his birthday....After calling many Spa's I came across Village Massage and received a call from Howard. He was very nice and since it was our first time getting massages (Professionally) he was very informative as well.

When the day came for the massage I was so excited ... from the moment you look at the cottage you can just tell how intimate they have made it.. you walk in and the ladies that were going to massage us ( I can not remember their names at the moment) sat down and talked to us and made us feel so welcome..

The whole aura of the place is wonderful... when the massage started the only thing i regret is not making my appointment longer because the massages were AMAZING!!! We will definitely return!

Simply the Best!. Howard has got to be the best massage therapist in Houston! From the soothing environment to Howard's calming demeanor, the moment you enter the cottage, it is like being wrapped in a blanket of peace. Howard takes the time to assess specific problem areas when you arrive and answers all questions. He employs a whole cadre of therapeutic touch techniques during his integrative massage which seemingly take you away to a magical, mystical place - and yet, you have never left Houston. Just like the month of March, you may roar in like a lion, but you will definitely walk out like a lamb!

A great find. I just looked online for the nearest massage place that could get me in right away and now I'll never go anywhere else. The house-turned-salon is so comfortable and welcoming.

I got a deep tissue massage by Howard and he had a way to make it relaxing instead of just painful. And then the warm bed, hot stones, wet warm towels, and aromatherapy made it perfect!

AMAZING MASSAGE!!!!!. I highly recommend Village Massage. Howard DeCastro is an amazingly skilled masseuse who gives a very relaxing and recuperative massage. I chose Howard based on the reviews about him on citiysearch. He lived up to every fantastic review and more. He is a seasoned and knowledgeable massage therapist and provides a plethora of services at his charming and peaceful location in River Oaks. I love the aromatherapy, hot stones, heated table and hot towels. And stretches! Howard's demeanor is calm, cordial and professional. I really appreciate that upon every visit he takes the time to understand why I am there are what my specific needs are that day and overall. Howard is respectful and considerate as well. It is obvious that giving a wonderful massage is his passion! I don't think I will ever need another massage therapist unless I'm out of town. Great job Howard, thanks soooo much!

wonderful prenatal massage. I am 6 months pregnant and have had muscle aches and tension throughout my body. My OB-GYN recommended massage therapy, so I got online and found Village Massage through Citysearch. Their website lists several discounts that you can use, including a first-time client discount, so be sure to request it!

My appointment was with Howard... he asked lots of questions and really customized my massage to my preferences and needs. I have experienced some sciatic nerve issues, and he taught me some stretches to help alleviate the pain. His top priority was my comfort and satisfaction, and the massage was perfect... certainly the best I've ever received. I will definitely be returning!

Worth every penny.... Christina was my massage therapist. She was terrific. She listened to what I wanted out of the hour.

I've had dozens of massages in the past. I was a bit hesitatnt to visit a "non-commercial" entity.

Boy, was I pleasantly surprised. I thought Village Massage was great.

Very professional staff, through and through...

Indulge yourself Indulge your senses. This is the Rolls Royce of massages. My husband has been working late deadlines 7 days a week. He said following his appointment with Howard and his team "it just doesn't get any better than this" he came away walking on air,- gone was the grouch he had been. Everyone deserves to have a luxurious bit of heaven once in a while and this is the Rolls Royce of massages in a beautiful roomy and clean setting. We loved this place and we know you will too. Go on go on you know you want to, you deserve it ......

Wonderful Massage. I went to Village Massage for the first time and was very, very pleased. I felt like the massage therapist, Howard, was very knowledgeable about massage and its impact on the body. I would highly recommend that anyone go here for a massage. It's also conveniently located and the prices are competitive with large salons. I highly recommend this location.
