Flies, Flies, Flies. We were so dissapointed in PK's as that restaurant site has been so many eateries. The porch is nice and the weather was lovely but the minute the food came out the flies, and hundreds of them appeared. The owner was nice and moved us inside but the food was about as appetizing as the flies. The broccoli was raw and the rest of the meal was slightly eatible. The chef needs to take a cooking class from New Orleans chefs who know how to cook seafood.

Excellent food and service!. As a chance find for our 12th Anniversary, we treked to the west side for this "great catch." The ONLY complaint is were didn't get to have any of the famed mashed potatos, but the rest of our dinner was exemplary. Server was very knowledgable of the menu and had recommendations that fit our pallete like he knew us. Pricing was great, portions were more than adequate, and we will return with guests! Wife has the salmon, I had the redfish, both of which were very well prepared. Finishing off the a brick of Amy's Vanilla Ice cream with chocolate drizzle, and a single serving of Key Lime. Superb. Add the bonus of sharing our experience with the manager - a feature missing from many of today's "name brand" restaurants, and we consider our Anniversary dinner a very very pleasant evening.

Best seafood at best prices!. Aside from the awesome seafood.....the rice and the green beans were the best I've ever eaten. And, the prices were amazingly low. You definitely get your money's worth and more....here.

Plus, the owner delighted us with his story.......that this is his...American dream come true!

We sat outside on the beautiful patio.....and, the service was excellent!

Good and Bad. Where do I start:

The crowd - Mostly 40s and up. Retirement crowd. It was only about 7pm and people seemed quite drunk.

The wait - we were first sat at a table by the bar. It was way too hectic. We requested another table. It took about 35 minutes. The manager was walking around talking to people, but he was really awkward. He also came over to our table while we were eating and rearranged our plates... while we were eating! Wierd.

The food - Was pretty good! I had bacon wrapped shrimp and scallop skewers. My boyfriend had the salmon which was better.

It was great to experience a new restaurant in the area, but not my kind of place. A little overpriced and much older crowd (I'm 31) and strange management.

Great food - reasonable prices. PK´s is a wonderful addition to the area, with very reasonable prices and a nice atmosphere. Both P.K. and the Cody (bar manager) make a point of introducing themselves and ensuring you are enjoying your experience. Definitely have their version of Ceviche to start and the steak was excellent and cooked perfectly (not always the case in a seafood restaurant). In addition to the dining room and bar area, there is a beautiful verandah. PKs is definitely worth a visit.

Fabulous Seafood, Beautiful Restaurant and Bar, Terrific Service. My husband and I noticed this new restaurant in our neighborhood along with some friends of ours and so we decided to give it a "try" last Friday night. Much to our surprise (since it has been several different restaurants) I believe we have a "keeper"!!!! Not only is the restaurant and bar itself very inviting with the softness of blue tones, hence "Blue Water", but from the moment you arrive, the friendly staff and service let you know you are ready for something special. Every dish we ordered was delicious! The shrimp and crab cocktail is to die for with just the right amount of spice! The grilled scallops and shrimp wrapped in bacon are moist and perfectly cooked. We were also amazed at the prices for such a lovely place. The portions are generous and drinks are definitely made to order!

We loved it so much, we had to go back Saturday night and try the gumbo and crab bisque! Simply scrumptious and a cup is equal to most restaurant's bowl portion. The owner makes a point to greet everyone and is sincere in asking for comments.

Final answer - we do have a Winner ! PK's is a place you will all want to try!
