They quoted $1000 for a fuel pump replacement other shops quoted $530-$600 for. On the invoice they claimed there was smoke when they opened the hood. This was untrue. I changed the fuse for the fuel pump myself before it was towed in and no such "smoke". When I tried to get it towed to another shop for a cheaper repair, they magically lowered their price. They also threatened to charge me over $200 for the tow and diagnosis if I brought it somewhere else. They never took any photos of the damage as they advertise. A couple of days later, my car died and when I called them they were more concerned with arguing with me than standing behind their work. I brought my car to another shop that found loose wiring, reconnected it and charged me nothing. Now a couple of weeks later my car died again and the wiring to the main computer was burnt. I truly feel DAE tampered with my car. They are a bunch of theves, don't take your car there, it will never run right again.

Cons: Liars, and they tamper with your car!

I brought my car to them after they assured me they work on foreign cars too. The next day I returned to pick up my vehicle with a $500 charge. 2 days later I came to find out it had the same problem they said was fixed and now my acceleration was rough and the engine was having seizures. I brought it back to them again and now they told me it was something else wrong and that I would have to pay $1000 to get it fixed. What I don't understand is how my car has the same problem you said was fixed. Beware of questionable automotive service and high prices.

Cons: Everything that matters
