Unfortunately we just had the worst experience at this store. I have always felt comfortable recommending this store to my friends because I felt like I had always gotten wonderful service every time we've gone in there over the last 10+ years. That is no longer the truth. We were treated so rudely and the other employees were trying to laugh it off, but bottom line is they wanted to make their sale and they didn't care how they did it or who they hurt in the process. Very disappointing to realize that they did not want to show us the best products nor did they want to make sure we got what we wanted. Be very careful when buying jewelry here! I now have to recommend to my friends to shop around and buy elsewhere.

Excellent repair / service. Hal's did a great job fixing a custom ring and resized another. I'm so glad to have reviews online for opinions b/c I never would have known about this great little shop.

They knew exactly what needed to be done to fix a couple of expensive rings and did it for less than I expected. They are first class and I will use them again for any jewelry needs.

Great experience at Hal Martin's. My fiance and I looked for her wedding band at lots of places in the Galleria area and they all had either bad service or exorbitant prices. Tarang at Hal Martin's dealt straight with us and gave us great advice on wedding bands that no one else had bothered to tell us. He was very helpful and we felt like he gave us a beautiful ring at a fair price. I was very satisfied with my experience at HM and I would definitely buy from there again.

Best customer service anywhere in Houston. Though I've never bought anything, they have repaired things for me for free 3 times. Can't ask for more than that!

Great Service, Great People, Great Products. I came in to authenticate my Rolex Submariner. As a multiple Rolex owner, I buy pre-owned from time to time and this one I needed verified as genuine / authentic. Not only did they verify it was all authentic quickly and expertly, but they offered to re-brush the bracelet to make the finish nicer. They were gracious and very nice with a level of knowledge you don't see.

Even though I didn't go in today to buy a Rolex, while waiting for the verification and re-finishing, I looked at some of their Rolexes for sale. The sales staff was extremely nice and accommodating and didn't hesitate to ask me if I needed help and pull out watches when I wanted to see them. Because they were so nice and knowledgeable, I will certainly make this my first stop for pre-owned Rolex and other watches in the future. Thank you, Hal Martins.

Rock solid company. I have a pocket watch that needed a part so after reading up on reviews of various companys I choose Hals to see if they could help. I found the people at Hals to be professional and friendly and talk about service ...when the watchmaker failed to find the correct part for my watch, he made one! Hal's deserves the 5 star rating and the people working there get 6. Looking for honest solid service ... go to Hal Martins ...

Great place and even better people!. I went in looking for a very specific watch and they were able to help me find exactly what I was looking for. They even had to order a part from New York. I was able to get my watch in under a week.

Everybody there is extremely nice and helpful. There is no question that I will go back for my next purchase and I recommend that anybody looking for watches or jewelry go visit them.

Abysmal!. Worse and rudest customer service I have EVER experienced. I'd give zero stars if available.

I wanted the strap repaired on my Omega Seamaster automatic and was told my watch was "falling apart" and needed a $430 service despite it working fine and being in excellent condition for a 10 year old watch. When asked what the sevice entailed I was told it would include "gaskets and oiling." When I questioned the extent of the service and the priced I was told to 'just take my watch" as the assistant held it between thumb and first finger like a piece of dirt. I promptly walked out of the store and went to Duetsch & Duetsch who confirmed my watch was in excellent order and needed a simple strap repair. Steer clear of this place.

best High End Pawn Shop. I was in a bind and needed to sell some gold, i shopped around most places i went wanted to give me 70 bucks for a gold watch, (penny weight) most pawn shops i went to such as Wright, were kinda rude, and seemed like they were doing me a favor. when i went to Hal Martins, staff was very professional and polite and offered me 280 for the watch plus owner took out the diamonds for me to have to make a ring. Love love love Hal Martins!!
