Always Top Notch Service. Used this company for many years of taxes for business and for personal. Always top notch. Best understanding of the IRS of anyone. Want to see for yourself? They have a free download on their site. It educates me more than any thing I ever did, all books, and my past accountants. Want to sleep at night, read it!

ex employee. I work for Joe Mastriano for a few months, back in 2010, and I just wanted to say that he is a demanding boss, but has always treated me fairly while I was there. Not many people have what it takes to work with him, but from what I've seen he's a very good tax professional and he runs his business right. I just wanted to leave this message here as a response to some of the complaints I've seen. Joe's firm handles hundreds of clients each year both people and businesses, it's only normal that out of all the many satisfied customers, a very small number will find reasons to complain. But some people can't be satisfied no matter what you do for them, I know this from my own experience. I left Joe's company because I was looking into a different career, not because I couldn't keep up with him, I guess other people just couldn't cope, that's their problem. I recommend Joe's firm to anyone looking to solve their tax issues. That's all I had to say!

Thanks!. I had not filed my taxes properly for a couple of years now, didn't care much for doing so nor did I ever have any concerns about the IRS knocking on my door. This summer I started receiving letters from the IRS, which I was foolish enough to ignore, till a few months ago when I got slapped with an IRS audit notice. Obviously I didn't have a clue as to what to do, went through a great deal of panic and I'd lie if I'd say I wasn't a bit scared, so I asked around and one of my friends recommended I called this CPA guy Joe Mastriano. I've never hired such services before in my life, and I had my doubts about paying, what seamed to me at that time, a pretty large fee, to have someone deal with the IRS for me. My friend talked me into it, and it was probably the best decision I ever made. It was a difficult time for me but with Joe's help I managed to get through the IRS audit and came out pretty well out of it too. Now I realize that were it not for Joe's help, the IRS would have probably ripped me apart for all the money that I had, and then some. Now I have a much better respect for filing taxes and especially for people that have to face the IRS on a daily basis, and I think Joe's fees reflect the value of his services and are a reasonable investment that can literally save your life's earnings. Thanks again Joe, and also thank your assistant for having so much patience with me, I know I'm a difficult person to work with.

Stop Slandering my name!!!. Stop putting my name up on here Joe! Take down my name from here. I never wrote any of those comments.

I have many things I can say about you. If you don't take my name down I will post things that you won't like, but that are very much true.

If you don't take my name down off this webpage I will continue to put more comments up and contact my lawyer for SLANDER. Yes, Joe I have a lawyer and I do have the funds, so don't push me. Remember I have recordings and pictures of you not being a professional business man with your employees. Stop your hatred towards me because I stood up for my rights.

People should stand up for their rights when they are being pushed around by bullies like you and a perv that doesn't know how to control himself.

So please, take down my name and any comments pertaining to me.

Thank you.

U.S. Tax Shield Needed 4 Sure. I needed someone to shield me from the IRS, just like the commercials I saw. Just got my audit papers from the agent at the IRS. We are retired and have rental houses, and also investment property that we flip for profit. Whenever there is any profit :).

The agent disallowed depreciation on the rental property. He said it was like inventory, because he asked me if i ever intended to sell it and I said yes.

The CPAS at this company said they represented cases like mine before, so I hired them. During the consultation, they took out tax books and showed me how you can have different types of property on the same tax return. They were professional, explained in detail how things are calculated.

My wife and I felt like we had that shield we needed against the IRS. We've had prompt contact with them getting receipts and other docs together. They haven't met with the agent yet, but after talking to other CPAs, they agreed with what we were told.

I just had to share the experience. There are CPAs who do this, without being afraid of the IRS. You don't have to hire some high priced lawyer, who won't even return your phone calls.

Glad I Found A Great Refferal. I didn't file my taxes for 4 years because I had big stock losses. My broker sends the information each year to the IRS. I figured the IRS can see I had big losses so I didn't need to file a tax return. I didn't owe them anything. So I thought. My paycheck got levied for $71,843.28! Man, that's like almost my whole annual paycheck. My boss and with me called the IRS and they said I had over $300,000 of income from the sale of stocks. We asked about the losses and they said no losses, just income. My boss said that I needed to hire a good tax man to help me. So then I went searching on the internet for someone I could trust. I found a tax blog by someone named Jay Freeborne. He blogs about tax resolution companies and educates people about who to stay away from. He reviews many of the tax relief companies, and rates them.He ranked Joe Mastriano, CPA #2 out of everyone, second only to his own company. Of course he would be dumb if he didn't put himself as the best. Go to taxresolutiontalk.blogspot dot com and search for Mastriano, and you will see his ranking. Anyway, I called them, and yes I have to agree. They really know their stuff. They got my paycheck levy released. They filed my back taxes. I don't owe the IRS anymore. I will get a refund now. I highly recommend this company to anyone who needs a good tax man (or woman :) )

Still In Shock - But Happy!. These guys were telling me about ways to fix my tax situation. My CPA warned me that I would get in trouble with the IRS. My attorney laughed and said "what do CPAs know about the law" She wanted me to file a bankruptcy for me and my corporation. I talked to a few of their customers who had problems similar to mine that were recommended the same solution. They all said they never heard of it before, but tried it. After researching the code section and talking to other CPAs, they never heard of the solution but, said everything I told them was o.k. with the law and rules as they knew it. I had too much money at stake so we hired them. Now we are about $500,000. less in IRS debt and I'm still in business and the IRS said themselves that they can only go after me for the amount we agreed that I owed personally. Now I know so much about what the IRS can and can't do. I already helped two family members with their IRS problems. The free download they have is even worth more than what I paid my other CPA. I would at least visit their web address and see all the info they have.

Top Tax Preparation. We had Joe Mastriano, CPA firm prepare our taxes for the last about nine years. This is a CPA firm in existence since the 70's. I asked around first. My cousin works for IRS and they are well know there. That's all I needed to get started. We researched their A+ BBB rating and comments on other professional blogs, all came up great. So after I was comfortable, went went there, and after 9 years of returns, I can't begin to tell you about the way these people understand IRS stuff. Do not try to save $100 on your tax return fees, you will pay for it later!

A Total Crook. I would not leave one star if that was an option, but you have to leave a star to submit a review. I agree with Trinaj and Ali Cat, this is a terrible company and I believe they write their own reviews too. This Joe Mastriano should lose his CPA license!

We paid this firm thousands of dollars to accomplish very little. They hire incompetent people to speak to the customer, the IRS and to do the returns, but they charge like Joe himself was doing the work. They are liars and cheat people who are afraid of the IRS.

Also, I do not think that Joe Mastriano should be on this site threatening people who have left negative comments. Doesn't that shout out Red Flag to anyone reading these reviews?

What's the matter Joe? Can't you hire enough people to write the false reviews that say you are so wonderful. Do you really sit around and read your own reviews? Perhaps you should pay more attention to doing quality work and you would have genuine positive reviews that were not written by you or your employees.

Quality Legal Assistance. I have used Joe Mastriano's CPA firm for years. The knowledge of how the IRS does things and getting through to the right people is very valuable. I suggest that you bring all your unresolved issues to them. When my legal clients have IRS problems, I consult with this firm, and then I help my clients solve their problems. I make more money, and look better to them, as a very knowledgeable attorney! Thank you Joe
