Authentic Mexican food, good service, great prices. Great little family-run taqueria. Good portions, large menu, lunch specials, and decent cheap margaritas at happy hour. I took my mom and dad there...they're more the Casa Ole / El Chico crowd and don't speak a lick of Spanish. Even they loved it!

Best Mexican Breakfast In All of the Bay Area. Thanks to proximity, I get to eat at La Frontera every weekend. Mom cooks, and the family serves. Truly home cooked Mexican food. I love their breakfast - my husband gets the Migas a la Mexicana and I get the Chilaquiles La Frontera. Their lunch and dinner menu are good too. The tortillas are the best because they are homemade. Friendly, friendly service. Get there early to beat the weekend breakfast crowd!

Though it's a traditional taqueria, the cheery facade and brightly lit interior set it apart from the standard taco shacks around town. Colored streamers, decorative sombreros and other Mexican decor accents give the restaurant a homey and festive feeling. Though the clientele is primarily Spanish-speaking, the waitstaff is bilingual and all diners are warmly welcomed. The menu offers breakfast tacos, fresh salads, soups, burritos, torta sandwiches, seafood and combo plates. Imported Coke, Jarritos and beer available.
