Great Hair Stylist

Yes ladies and gents! Amanda Gunter is the one to see. I really love her sharp visions of style. Girl can cut some hair! Everyone loves the way she cuts and colors my hair! I must admit myself that her hair coloring is beyond vibrant and to perfection! I am awed by the way she cuts my hair, because no matter what I decide to do to it, it just falls beautifully! To anyone looking for a good shampoo, relaxer, color, or even just a cut and style, this chic knows what she is doing. I had to get on City Search and give her her props! Girl has got MAD SKILLS! And get this, she even does guys hair. The salon is a WRAP too! Nice spot to just get away and be spoiled. Touch of Red, keep this stylist Amanda, because she adds even more ambiance! I'll be sure to be there every chance I can get.......Hold a spot for me Amanda!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rod is great!

I recently moved to the Houston area and I had been in search of a stylist. I came across A Touch of Red and after going over the reviews for Rod I decided to give him a call. Rod is Great. Just as the other reviews state he is very knowledgeable and the shop has a very friendly and relaxing atmosphere. I must admit I am hooked, give Rod a call and your hair will thank you.

rod IS red hot !!!!!!

Rod has been styling my hair for over three years. It says something when the only shears that have been near my head in three years have been held by Rod. Rod is fantastic with all hair types and lengths, but I must speak about myself specifically. It is difficult to find a stylist who can cut and style African-American hair WITHOUT frying it, spritzing it to death, loading it down with brown gel, or worse, gluing or sewing bushels of weave in it. Rod is amazing with color and highlights, in the past he has color treated my hair and never did I have a horror story to tell about how all of my hair fell out or turned shades of orange or green. I have nothing but good things to say about Rod. I mention Rod to all of my friends and family. I have never seen a man so comfortable with his craft. As for my last visit four days ago, Rod did wonderful tricks again. He layer my hair and put a burgundy rinse on it. Every time the sun hits my head I am showered with compliments by anyone who has eyes and happens to be passing by!
