In Short – What was clearly once a corner filling station provides a bird's-eye view to a busy intersection for outdoor patrons within the Heights. A large wooden deck is a popular place to grab a beer after work and enjoy a menu of sandwiches, kabobs and salads. Inside a large bar and cozy couches provides an alternate, yet far more smoke-filled environment.

Pour Service!

I went in last night to watch Game one of the NBA finals on the patio.
Each time I ordered a beer I had to wait and I could see the waitress talking to the staff and other customers while holding my beer. Naturally it wasn't very cold when I got it.
When the game started they immediatley turned down the volume and cranked up some piped in disco music. I went in and complained to the manager and was told they were expecting a group for a baby shower that would want music on the patio.
Personally, I don't go to bars for baby showers but I do go for cold beer and sports so I will find a better spot.
- Pros: Convenient location
- Cons: Bad service, rude manager

Horrible, horrible service - don't bother going here

This place has the worst service. The tall, curly haired bartender is the rudest I've ever met. The draft beer was luke warm and the cosmos were weak and tasted bad. We went to another bar later on and people who had been at 6th street were talking to me. Even they commented, out of the blue, how rude that guy was. We will NOT be going back
- Pros: good food
- Cons: horrible service and crappy drinks
Drive on by -- horrendous service!

Worst Service EVER!
I can usually put up with poor service if someone will "step-up" and try to make things better when things have been going wrong. Doesn't happen here.
Managed to straddle the shift-change at the bar around dinner time (more on that in a second).
Asked about one sandwich or the other, hoping for some guidance. When none was forthcoming, I asked for my favorite of the two and, *quite* some time later, the wrong one started to come out.
I'd noticed several people weren't getting their food and said I'd take what I got. Bad choice. Their $8 Gyro has about 2 ounces of meat in it and their "steak fries" were big chunks of potato (1 inch cubes). I think the Gyro meat was pulled out of a frozen bag of pre-fab meat and briefly deep fried. Yuck.
Then the bartender said she'd be off-shift in a minute and asked me to close out and start a new tab. I'm usually OK with doing that, if I've got a big ticket running and I've been taken care of; but it's a hassle when none of the above are true.
Dissatisfied with dinner, I decided to see if an order of wings might smooth my remaining hunger and keep the evening happy. Some friends showed up and they ordered various burgers. We then proceeded to wait for more than 30 minutes. ONE of their burgers came out and the other person was left to watch him eat. My wings eventually came out and still one burger order was missing.
A manager FINALLY came out and offered a salad to the poor, burgerless man (it was prob. a good thing that he had no cutlery at hand!). Nothing offered to the rest of us that had managed to "hang on" to be fed.
Had the manager "worked the bar" and restaurant area to see if there was anything he could do to make people happy, I'd still be recommending them. Everyone has an off night. But everyone on staff was blaming others for the lack of food, service, etc. instead of fixing it.
Had the bartender gone back and raised the roof in the kitchen, I'd have respect for her. Instead, she shrugged her shoulders and said she guessed they couldn't "read the order slips back there."
Lackluster service!
No personal accountability from anyone on staff to ensure people were getting any sort of satisfaction and crummy food. And they were out of half of their drinks, menu items and glasses (they resorted to plastic cups as no one had ordered new glasses).
I've heard the place is only two months into new management. Two months is plenty of time to have gotten past these horrendous errors and have a manger with fire in his belly and a bartender or waitress with her foot up the kitchen staff's "speed meter."
All-in-all, for anyone anyone thinking about the place, I have one recommendation: Drive on by. ..... Oh, when I left, the poor fellow was still waiting for his burger!
- Pros: OK wings ... Still, I wouldn't order them again.
- Cons: Bad and slow service, lackluster mgrs, small portions
