Sushi Coast

My friend and I make a point to visit Sushi Coast a couple times a month (at least). It's our favorite place to eat out. I will admit that the sushi isn't the best there is, but we go more for the other food served. They also offer your standard tempura dishes, donburi (rice bowls with toppings), onigiri, agedashidofu and other arrays of appetizers, actual ramen, and udon/soba noodle bowls quite similar to what I've eaten in Tokyo.

The decor is very contemporary with bright colors and fish. I find the price affordable. I've also never had the situation where I'm stuck waiting to be helped, but then, we tend to go after the normal lunch rush.

Very "Americanized" -- so may appeal to 1st time sushi eaters. I've been eating sushi for a while, and was VERY DISAPPOINTED. The decor was kind of corny, but not dirty, and was clean.

The miso soup tasted like it was made from a package at the dollar store. The sushi was even worse. It was hot and gooey! GROSS overall experience.

Excellent Sushi!!!

My wife and I try to eat here as often as possible, at least once a week. I don't know if this is the best sushi in the world, but for the Clear Lake area, it's as good as it gets. The fish is always very fresh and well prepared! Some of our favorites are - The Sabrosito, Galactic Booty, and Rainbow rolls. But I've never had anything i didn't like. I HIGHLY recommend it!
