fresh food made right in front of you!. I really enjoy going during the lunch hour because it isn't crowded and you can pick sushi bar or hibachi grill. They have a nice selection of sushi to choose from as well as cooked food. I am never disappointed in the food I order.

But...If you decided to go during 6-8pm and you want the hibachi, be prepared to wait awhile because it does become crowded and parking is HORRIBLE!!

I will have to go to the Bellaire location to see if it is better than Webster.

The new building should be better in Clear Lake. We had heard wonderful things about Samurai's new building and becided to take the kids for the last day of school. WOW disapointing. The grills and floor where sticky and the man running the Hibachi was having a bad day. He messed up everyones order and was unfriendly. The group across from us, the father did not get his food until after we left. The hostest was mad because we would not pay our bill before we finished eating and made it apoint to show her irritation.

I walked away from the children and asked for the manager to exsplained about what had happened. The poor waitress was beside me agreeing with my story because she was very nice and had tried to help. The manager did not even acnowledge that their was a problem. We will not go back.

New Bellaire Location Shines. We jsut dined at the new Bellaire location. The service was attentive and warm without hovering. The decor is divine. The hibachi had standard offerings but was very good. The sushi was extremely fresh - the catepillar roll tasted like it came straight from the garden. Portions are generous without being huge. The mango mouse (dessert special) was heavenly. Overall, a very good value for the price. We will definitely be back with more guests. I'm so happy to have a great Japanese restaurant in Bellaire

Great Sushi and Hibachi. Samurai's makes the best sushi in all of the Clear Lake and Webster area. I love the Nasa Roll, the Geisha Roll and the Special Crunch roll. Plus they have a hibachi (sit around a huge grill) plate that's called a Seafood Combo; it comes with lobster, shrimp and scallops, and it's wonderful.

Amazing!!. The sushi here is delicious. We will definitely go back again. The only issue was waiting on water refills.

Great sushi and hibachi. Samurai has become a frequent choice for our Friday night dinner and is perfect for a night out with a group. The hibachi steak and shrimp are consistently cooked to absolute perfection, and the sushi rolls are among the best in town. In fact, the only dish at Samurai I can't easily pronounce the best in the Clear Lake area is the cheese puff appetizer, which is better at Masa Sushi. Other than that, Samurai wins the gamut!

Top picks: Philadelphia Hand Roll, Samurai Mai Tai

Amazing mouth watering sushi. This is now a restaurant that I make sure to visit at least twice a month. Friendly service, always keeps drinks filled, willing to accommodate to your taste. The BEST sushi I have had (and I have been to many many sushi 'joints' as I like to call them. Its in a strip mall kind of building, but dont let that fool you. And hey if its your birthday they sing and even let you hold a samurai sword.

Good Food but they need to clean the place up!. The food and service is very good. The sushi is fresh and they have the best table cooking in the area. However I was disappointed on my last visit of the condition and cleanliness of the restaurant. The floors were so sticky your shoes stuck to the floor and there was clutter in the sushi area. Restrooms needed attention also.

Good food Bad Service. I have been to this restaurant several times to eat out with friends. I have noticed that the service is really lacking lately. With my last dining experience the waiter never once filled up our waters, we had to wave him down for a refill. I noticed him just standing by the kitchen door doing nothing, so I can?t say it was a busy night for him. I ordered my meal off the hibachi grill and ordered one of the more expensive dishes that came with ice cream for dessert. The waiter completely forgot to bring us the ice cream and brought the bill instead. I was not impressed at all with his service at all. If I ever do venture back to this restaurant I will let the manager know of any poor service I receive.

I will say the Hibachi Chef was very fun and entertaining. The food was also excellent. They just need to work on thier wait staff.
