What People Are Saying About Sun Tech Glass Tinting
Dissatisfied - Look Elsewhere for Energy Savings
by Concerned Consumer at Citysearch
I want to share my experience with Sun Tech Glass Tinting. Sun Tech was very good at the sales pitch… they sold us hook line and sinker on the great energy savings we would see from installing their window films. Window film installation was done very professionally and efficiently. However we were told to expect a payback of roughly 18 months and after 5 months of peak summer heat, we have not seen our energy usage decline any verses the previous two years (with same temperature set point and bodies in the house). Thus it is my opinion that their product does not provide any measurable energy savings. When I spend $2800 on a product, I expect it to work and if it doesn’t, somebody should either fix the problem or refund me my money. I tried unsuccessful to resolve the issue with the owner of the company; all he & the supplier told me was that the window film should be saving me money theoretically. Theory is all great & good but reality is what counts! I have not seen a dime of the energy savings promised and therefore feel very misled. I highly recommend you look elsewhere for energy saving products.
- Pros: Professional Installation
- Cons: Heavy Sales Pitch with NO Results
Not what I expected

Had this company give me a quote - I initially decided to go with them however when it came down to the minimal paperwork, I found that both the Female and Male (husband and wife team) were very pushy, spoke over me when I tried to ask questions about their warranty and application. Didn't get a good feel from them. Bad experience all together. Regret using them. Window tinters are a dime a dozen, I chose the wrong one!
- Cons: Communication very weak, both owners had attitudes
