There are three stages of hair growth. The catagen, anagen and telegen stages. Only the telegen stage is what can be removed . The 1st treatment may remove 30 % . That's why you may need it 5 times to keep up with new growth. The process isn't a quick fix. Hair removal is a process. At any given time, you have hairs that are at different stages. So as the new growth appears- keep doing the laser , all hair will be destroyed . The calibration can be set higher each time. The 1st time is set conservatively so you don't get burned.

Avoid Hair Removal Hype

Starting the Laser Hair removal nearly a year ago I was excited and looked forward to today. The staff was friendly and willing to answer questions. Supposedly I'm in the group that should see the best results, very fair skin with dark hairs. Almost a year later and thousands of dollars, and only a small reduction of hair. They're already trying to prep me for paying for more treatments when the first ones didn't work, they miss sections of hair during every single treatment, and if something comes up after your treatment, they will not correct the problem.
If the treatment doesn't work for the "optimum" group, I can't see how it will possibly work for others. Hope this reaches somebody out there to help them not be a fool and waste their money on this treatment.like I did. If it had worked, yes it would've been well worthwhile, but the truth is it doesn't and they know it. My comments about it were taken with no real regard just a sigh and insincere "sorry to hear that".

- Cons: Services don't do what they say they will, no attempt at working with the customer and don't let you know deadlines up front
