DNR stands for Do Not Return!. Seriously, with all the Turkish, Lebanese & Greek restaurants that Houston has to offer.. why waste your time at DNR! The food was bland, dry and over priced! Go down the street to Niko Niko's and get your monies worth!

Rude Staff and Bland Food. We recently moved to the Museum District and after driving past DNR numerous times, and reading a glowing

online review, we tried out DNR. We were very excited and anxious for some yummy food.

Oh how disappointed we were.

Let's start with the rude gal behind the counter. No hello, no smile, no effort to answer the one question I had, and certainly no thank you as I handed over

almost $20 for a quick meal for 2.

We instantly felt that were NOT welcome in their establishment and it is fair to say we were uncomfortable the entire meal. We instantly got the feeling that we did not fit 'their' profile, therefore should not patron their establishment.

My husband ordered a combo. He was informed they were "out of fries" and "would substitute with soup."

Ok, no problem. Only when she re-rang us up, "I will substitute with soup" comment was to the tune of $3.00 extra.

Huh?? You can not "be out of fries" and offer to substitute, then make the customer pay the price for your lack of food planning!

We did not say anything, as we already felt so uncomfortable with her demeanor towards us.

We just wanted to pay, eat and get out of there.

Food: Bland, tomato soup tasted like chicken broth, baked potato had no flavor

Great Location and Outdoor Patio near Museums. We stopped in Sunday afternoon thinking it was still Buteras. Nope, more of of fast food Meditterranean/ American fare. Not bad but not great - the decor is kinda cheesey with a burger chef logo. Food was fresh enough and service was excellent because there were only a few lunchers on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. Had my heart set on the gyro sandwich but they were out of pita bread?? I settled on the gyro plate with pilaf and all you can eat salad bar. Salad bar is excellent with babaganouch and greek salad choices.

Probably healthy, but not appetizing. I didn't find much to enjoy about this place. It reminds me of a European fast food place, which is nice for the nostalgia element, if nothing else. Comfortable seating, clean location, a step up from American fast food in terms of the setting... but the menu is very limited and the food is quite bland.

Best gyro in Texas. As a gyro maniac, they have simply the best gyro in Texas so far (as far as I know). Chicken soup is great as well. I didn't have a chance to try the other things in the menu yet.

30 minutes is not "fast food". Deciding to try something different, I ventured into DNR which now occupies the space where Butera's used to be (in the Chelsea Market). Nice decor, good food, but unbelievably slow service. I ordered a chicken sandwich meal (sandwich, fries and drink) and it took 30 minutes to get the whole order. The manager didn't seem to realize what had happened, smiling blankly at me as I complained. Considering this place is less than 6 months old, it already needs drastic improvements in service to remain on my list of places to go.

Yummy!. Last week to celebrate ;) the end of the school, I went to DNR with my friends. I ate so much that I gained 2 lbs! Instead of eating a hamburger full of chemicals, all stabilizers stuff, etc, I suggest you to have a DNR wrap, or DNR pilaf if you want to have real food, not fast- one. DNR really goes well with the delicious salad which you will have difficulty to choose from the salad bar.

I think DNR is commodious if you consider that it is a fast food restaurant. And I really liked the friendly employees and the service. The presence of a parking lot in such a district is another pro. Oh, the prices are satisfying by the way ;)

Sandwiches delicious inexpensive. I came down with my friends to Museum District and DNR is the first restaurant on the way to Westheimer.

We all like the sandwiches and lentil soup.

Service was great and people were friendly.

They have also a nice porch with Free Wi-Fi.

Next time, I will bring my laptop, so we can study with the Seattle's best coffee
