Great affordable place.
If you are looking for a quick affordable meal this is the place to go. Chicken Chop-Chops are very good, specially the ones with grilled chicken. The mustard and curry sauce is a MUST, I do not like curry but I must say this sauce is awesome, for the curry you can barely feel it.
People were very friendly too. I just found out they deliver as well so I look forward to ordering some rotisserie chicken.
Best healthy fast food!!!. wow this place is awesome , the service , the food was really good, the best thing you can do is try the mustard n curry sauce!!! it is awesomeee! , i highly recommend the mexican chop chop !! or the cuban with yellow rice!! , the rotisserie chicken is good also! , it is my healthy addiction.
Healthiest fast food in the world!.
Since I started dieting, Chicken Kitchen has been the best place to have lunch. They always have great service and will accomodate a lot of special requests and even some extras for frequent customers.
The rice bowls are great but the Rottiserie Chicken is the best... just ask them to put it in a bowl instead of a plate and to put lettuce below it...if you don't eat the skin it is a low fat high protein meal.
I have tried almost everywhere in Miami and it is not as good as it is in Houston!
Their caterings are always a success!
Catering works too. I love this place. Last night I had a bunch of girlfriends over so I tried their catering. They gave me more than generous portions for 5 chicken chop-chop salads with side orders of plantains, black beans, curry mustard sauce and pita bread. There was enough left over for lunch today. On a side note, I have been scouring the internet for a recipe for their curry mustard sauce. I tried to recreate it last week but it wasn't quite right.
Best Chicken Bowls and Salads in Houston. You must try this restaurant. It's a little hidden but you will be amazed at their chicken bowls and salads. Specially if you pour mustard and curry sauce in to their rice and chicken as I do. I highly recommend the cuban chop-chop!!! I wish I knew about this restaurant before. Its clean, its healthy and people are really nice.
must try the mustard curry!. Very good food, but the mustard curry is what really makes the chop-chop rice bowl! It is a little pricey for what you're getting, but it's suppose to be healthy! Though I must say the rice seems to be quite greasy for a place that is suppose to be healthy?! Nevertheless, it's good food and still probably healthier than a lot of other "fast food" type places. It is a rip off to get the larger size to-go, as they give you the same amount of sauce (2 small containers) as they give for the original size......and if you ask for any extra sauce for a to-go order they'll charge you! That didn't quite make sense to me, but you can always get your own sauce when you eat there since they leave it out.....or just put it on yourself to-go!
Best Service and Fast Food in Town!!. Great concept, great service, great food at good prices! I'm so excited about their Downtown opening!!! I won't have to make the drive to the Village for lunch anymore!...they'll be in the tunnels! I hope they open one in Sugarland soon too...
Great and Healthier food. Just tried it for the first time. I love their chicken in bowls the difference with other places is that you get white meat which is healthier. Just make sure you try the Mustard and Curry sauce!! You'll love it.
Too Pricey for Chicken and Rice!!!. I tried the chop-chop and for $5.75 for a bowl of rice and a small amount of chicken...over priced IMO.
neat idea but not a good value. The curry mustard sauce to put on the chicken and rice bowls is their best sauce. Overpriced for what you get -- rice with a chicken breast and sauce. If you want additional things like lettuce and tomato, it's going to cost extra. I'd rather enjoy a burrito in a bowl someplace else for basically the same thing.
