great neighborhood restuarant. I recently moved to upper kirby district. I have been invited by a friend to this restuarant. I really enjoyed there food and friendly staff. I will definetly fo back.

Example: great place for good bread. You have to order your food and drinks at the register. They then bring it out to you. What an odd practice. We went to the Heights location. The only thing that impressed me selection wise about the menu is that they have roasted corn. Seems like so-so even for just Tex Mex.

I said SPINACH, not seafood!. While the food at this Berryhill location is tasty, the last 2x I've been there they've gotten my order wrong. The first time when they asked me what kind of beans I wanted, black or charro, I said black. It came out w/ charro. The second time, I ordered the chimichanga combo w/ spinach and chicken, and they brought seafood and chicken. That 2nd visit, my husband had also ordered fish tacos but they brought him something else that wasn't fish tacos instead! When he told the food runner the order was wrong, he didn't understand that what he brought out wasn't fish tacos. I didn't want to deal w/ explaining so I sucked it up and ate mine. It was good, just wish it had been what I ordered. They really need to pay better attention when they are punching the orders into the register. Plus, it's too expensive to 1) be a taqueria and 2) have incompetent staff!

Clean this place up!. My family once loved this place but it is sooooo nasty now! We've been at least 15 times and this weekday evening, around 6:30 pm, the tables were sticky and flies were everywhere. My daughter went to the bathroom and said it was disgusting - flies in there as well. I can only imagine what the kitchen is like. And, once again, even though my husband and I each order separately one cheese enchilada - they ALWAYS put them together on a plate. It's a running joke with us - will they ever get it right? Who cares - we won't go back. OK, maybe, if they clean this place up. Hose it down for goodness sake.

Avoid the margaritas. Montrose Location: Margaritas were not good, tasted like cough syrup. The bartender was more concerned about going to the restroom to apply her lipstick, than waiting on someone.

Best Bar In The Woodlands. Everynight is a good night to be there. There is always people to talk to and the mood is casual.
