The "Original" Houston Hot Sauce Festival, in 1999, was the brainchild of event promoter Carol Borge. Although there are many excellent fiery food events across the country, there had never before been anything like this in the Houston area.

Chili heads pour into the annual event- ready to sample hundreds of award winning vendor products. This hot festival is always in September. It has become one of the hottest events to attend yearly. Proceeds from the Houston Hot Sauce Festival benefit a chosen non-profit organization every year. Visit the website for dates and details.
