“Dont even get me started on the amount of rolls they have that contain cream cheese or the rude waiter that nearly hit me with a plate of sushi he incorrectly brought to the table.”
“On a Friday or Saturday night, your best bet for getting a table is going to the sushi bar, otherwise, expect a wait of at least 1 hour and 45 minutes.”
“For $40 a person we thought we could expect great quality sushi - apparently not.”
“The drinks on the mnu are good and offer a variety.”
“good place for a date.”
“The service was below par, the managers not nice or helpful at all having made reservations too.”
“They have awesome DJ's spinning there on the weekends and for the price the food is decent.”
“The displeasure felt was exasperated by the loud, bad music which made it difficult to talk, which is annoying if their service is so slow you're forced to sit there forever.”

Expect fanciful & fun Japanese food to go along with their specialty cocktails. Great bar scene, you know what I mean, right?

Go here with friends to hang out. Vibe is fun, sound system/music is great, drinks are large & tasty. Specialty rolls are a good bet & hot ginger/garlic edamame is addictive.
Best Sushi Place. Beatiful sushi place located in one of the most classy locations in Houston, Texas. If you like sushi this is the place for you to enjoy your night with friends.
Review Insight.
I have been the to the City Centre location many times. The food started off very good and appealing. It seems like with time the food isn't as good or fresh/up to par when they first opened. I really like the ambiance Why did they take Blue Crab Cakes off the menu!! NO - i loved them :(
Before I didn't mind paying for the higher dollar food, but it's not the same. They have a decent HH. Good place to meet up friends for HH.
OVER PRICED. The food used to be better. The prices - especially on drinks - have gotten way out of control. All things considered, there are a lot more places in Houston to go pay too much for bad food and weak drinks.
What happen?. I was a big fan of RA Sushi two years ago. I always come and eat here for lunch with my boyfriend every weekend. I love it when they open the windows when the weather is great outside. Location is great, the ambiance is great, and the food USED to be good. I have no idea what happen? It seems like they are under different management now because they made a few changes on their menu and even the type of chicken they use for their teriyaki chicken, which used to be one of my favorite, changed. It isn't as lean, and the rice is a bit saggy now. The place became ghetto, and every Friday and Saturday night, it seems like it turned into a club...... Their staff has the tendency of being rude, and when I had my birthday celebration here in 2009, it was awful. I miss the old RA Sushi...
Great food excellent atmosphere. Love the second floor outisde view, great music and good. Good place to meet with friends.
Sushi. The atmosphere here is better than the sushi. It's a good place to go when it's cool outside and the have the windows open and the music going, they also have some good happy hour specials. The sushi is okay, but I go more for the atmosphere than the food.
RA - Management. I recently published a comment about a bad expereince I had at RA on Westheimer location. the waiter had used profanity with my friend and myself. I was ofcourse shocked and upset at the situation. I contacted RA corporate and management through their e-mails provided on their website. I was surprised to have the regional manager contact me regarding the situation. He expressed that RA does not condone that type of behavior and assured me the situation was being handled internally with the individual. I beleive in letting a business know when they are doing well, and when they are doing not so well. I feel good knowing that management actually took the time to really listen to their customers and value their patronage. Thank you RA for taking the time to listen to your cutomers.
Overpriced food. I went to the CityCentre location about a week ago and sat at a table for about 15 mins but no one ever came to ask me for my order or if I had been helped. I tried to flag the manager down a couple of times but I could see that he was busy spending his important time flirting with the bartender. Real professional. I ended up just walking out because I didn't want to wait for overpriced food with crappy service
Worst Experience. All there is to say is that I've been here twice and both occasions leave me regretting my decision. crappy place but its great for people who think they're trendy
