Best Nails in Houston. It's a shame that the bad reviews on this site are from before the new owners took over! The new crew is fantastic and I cannot recommend highly enough.

I started working in the Galleria area this past January and did a quick search to find a nail salon convenient to work. So glad I happened upon VL Nails!! The staff is friendly, conversational and Tran does the best acrylic nails I've ever seen. People think they are my natural nails! I won't go anywhere else.

They are remodeling the salon right now, but don't let that put you off. Everything is kept clean and customer ready.

Highly, highly recommend!!!

Very available and reasonable nail and massage salon. I have been going to this salon for 2 years now on a very regular basis. The owner is always there on most days, and not afraid to do my nails or pedi when the other girls are busy with other clients. I've gotten to know the girls there, and they are all so very sweet and do a wonderful job every time.

So close to every thing in the galleria area, most often take you without making an appt. They know me on a first name basis, give them a good tip and I'm treated as one of their best clients.

It is located next to a very nice Sushi resturant and hair salon on the other side, so it makes for a great stop.

Clean and comfortable, not the most upscale, but certainley they know how to relax and complete in a timely fashion.

Give them a try! Most times, walk right in, they take care of you right away.

Great Frustration!. I called to this salon on Monday morning to sign up for 1pm appointment for manicure and pedicure. The lady confirmed my appointment. I arrived at 1:05pm, and what I heard was: "The lady that was supposed to do your manicure left for lunch, we are sorry, we forgot about your appointment." I am not going to give this place a second chance. This is not serious!

Had a great time with my girlfriends!!. My girlfriends and I went there for my best friend's birthday and we had such a great time. Their spa pedicure was soo relaxing. Love their salt scrub and mask. The employees were sweet and did a great job with our nails. I was most impressed with how clean the place was. I saw them disinfecting the tub every time they were done with each of us. Even the restroom was super clean! I would definitely recommend this place!

Not going back. I called and was told a mani pedi would be 37$, made a booking. When I arrived the lady asked me: Spa pedicure? Probably hoping I would nod and charge me more at the end. I asked her what was the spa pedicure and ended up giving it a try. It was 52$. I would say it was honest - salt exfoliation, nice massage with hot stones. The pedi was ok. Mani was a bit quick and my nails have looked better in the past. It was ok, but nothing to write home about.

The place looks clean but I'm not convinced they actually disinfect all instruments. I like when they do that before me. As a result I couldn't really relax.

I think what bothered me the most were the 2 ladies who were getting their nails done. They kept complaining and treated the working ladies quite bad, looking down on them and giving them orders...I was quite ashamed. I'm sure they wouldn't have acted the same had the ladies been caucasian and not vietnamese...overall I didn't have the best experience.

Will be looking at other places before coming back to this one.

professional, reasonably priced, i'll be back for more. I like the attention to detail for my services. They have decent music and I love the massage chairs!! Every visit was a pleasant experience for me. The owner and the staff were friendly even though they don't speak fluent English, but they understood what I wanted. They actually pay attention to you once you walk in the door unlike other salons that I've been to in the area including Norris.

The prices on their menu are extremely reasonable considering the high-profile area. Give this place a try if you like professional, friendly service and a relaxing scene.

VL nails & Spa Salon, 770556. I just went to VL Nails and Spa Salon and i didn't like it. Girls weren't friendly. My pedicure and eyebrown were the quickest in my life. I wasn't happy. Anyway it was clean there and I like nice music. I am not going to back there. Sorry!!!!!!!

Great Customer Service. I recently had a manicure & pedicure at VL nails and was very pleased. The owner and the workers were very friendly and did a great job. The facility was extremely clean. The service was exceptional. I can't wait to return!!
