“It looks slightly more dressed up than a Shipley's Do-Nuts store, and the chairs are not all that comfortable, but the crepes are without words great!”
“Gelato instead of ice cream are excellent additions to the dessert crepes.”
“typically order a coffee and a bagel.”
“The dessert crepes are also delicious.”
“tried the entire menu and I liked it”
“nice place.”
“The staff is also friendly.”
“I'm no coffee drinker but I'm now a huge fan of this place after trying some of their crepes for dinner.”
“The service is slow on Sunday morning when business is hopping.”
One of the best coffees around town. This place really takes heart on making their coffee one of the best tasting coffee around. They really know how to make it better.
Love the Crepes!!!. Have been a few spots all over Houston for crepes and this one wins the prize. The portions are huge and the ambiance is fantastic. Nice place to relax.
Alright Experience.
This is where I first tasted crepes. I thought it was okay, but i wasn't a big fan of it. I got the strawberry and banana nutella crepe dessert and it tasted alright to me.
When I had my 22nd birthday, we hired a crepe guy from "creative crepes" and that's when I fell inlove with it! It was delicious and that's the real thing..
So I guess what I mean is that.. It wasn't a best experience for me. Staff were alright, food was alright, but location is great.
I don't mind coming back again, but I know I could get better crepes somewhere else.
I like this place a lot!.
As a big fan of crepes I was very happy to discover this place.
Crepes are delicious - both salty and sweet.
Staff is sympathetic and this midtown area is so nice - I love sitting outside just enjoying this unique Houston quarter.
great freakin crepes. never had them untill someone told me about this place. ive only have the desserts and their great.
Sara is lacking in Customer Service. This is one of my favorite places to eat. However, every time I ask for a Booster and Sara waits on me, she makes some lame excuse as to why she can't make it. Most of the time it is "we are out of hot sauce". We went yesterday and I requested a Booster, was given the lame excuse of "we are out of hot sauce" and lo and behold as I was walking outside, a big ole bottle of hot sauce was sitting on the condiment cabinet. I took it up and put it right next to the cash register where she was and she just looked at me like, "and?" I asked one of the other wait staff why she does this and they replied that she "only wants to be a cashier". Sara, if you don't want to serve your customers, go be a cashier at Randall's. Other than that the rest of the staff is WONDERFUL and the crepes are unsurpassed!
I tried the entire menu and I liked it.
Having spent a year living just upstairs I’ve spent some serious time at CoCo’s outdoor tables simply reading, working or watching the world go by. It was a wonderfully convenient place to have in my apartment building and I miss it. In addition to the standard espresso bar, CoCo’s offers up creative smoothie blends, Italian sodas, gelatos, chocolates and of course, crêpes. I’ve actually tried every single one of these and was always pleased. The savory crêpes are a particularly surprising treat since the Middle Eastern background of the owners has resulted in some creative spices and combinations.
The Coco’s experience is so deliciously pleasant that I don’t even mind the way they refer to crème anglaise as “crème brulée sauce” and that says a lot coming from me. Okay, maybe it does bother me a bit, but I wouldn’t let it stop me from eating there!
Good place for brunch!.
Went there on a Wednesday (around 12) and it wasn't too packed. Ordered two different crepes... one had smoked salmon, capers, and cream cheese and the other one had raspberry sauce, strawberries, bananas, and chocolate mousse. Both were very appetizing! Decided to try out their coffee and I was pleasantly surprised... their Iced White Chocolate Mocha wasn't too sweet or "syrup"-y tasting. The staff is also friendly. I just wish they'd expand the eating area or at least update the interior. But overall, it was a very good experience!
I only gave 4 stars because the inside isn't too pretty.
Delish crepes. I LOVE the Sweet crepes # 5...the one with strawberries/banana/white chocolate mousse and raspberry sauce....and to top that off I always add a scoop of french vanilla on top! I also like their savory crepes for lunch...the one that's chicken, mushrooms, spinach or whatever...I think it's #1...can't remember. IT beats eating pasta! Just thinking about their crepes makes my mouth salivate! The only downside is parking...especially at night. One time I drove around the area three times trying to find parking (Friday night)....after those several attempts, I ended up just driving ten miles back home!!
Best Crepes in Houston!!. This small, quaint restaurant has THE MOST AMAZING crepes.....yummy! I love all of them that have chocolate in them. I have yet to find any other place in Houston that makes crepes as delicious as Coco's. You definitely need to try this place.
