Great food , lovely ambiance &
atmosphere but where is that piano man Michaelangelo???? my wife and children loved him.
We came several times hoping to see him and hear him at your restaurant but were disappointed when finding out he is not there.
He really made us feel at home, asking us what we would like to hear and making sure that we were satisfied and happy.

Fantastic Piano entertainment, lovely ambiance.
We had our company Christmas dinner party and it was a very special night. The pianist , I believe his name is Michelangelo, was very entertaining and went out of his way to make us feel welcome and happy. We requested some Christmas songs and some classical piano music by Bethoven and Mozart which he proceeded to play with flare and excitement which truly made our night special..
The food was very good but the service was slow and the waiters kept forgetting what we asked for.

Great food, excellent bar but Michelangelo pianist missing.
We are frequent clients at Cafe Benedict, we enjoy the food and the ambiance, we like the way we get treated at this comfortable restaurant . Where is that piano player Michelangelo??? he used to rock the place with his music. You guys need to get him back.

Great date spot.
My husband found this place. We ordered the Fois Gras and a wine flight. Don't show up hungry! It took about 20 minutes to get bread, another 20 minutes for the appetizer to come out, and another 15 minutes after that to get the wine flight. The Fois Gras was wonderful, and the first time I've actually liked it. The carmelized apples and onions went perfectly with it. Usually the waiter brings your wine flight and points to each glass to tell you which is which, but here they have a paper with the names of the wines. Very helpful! It was a beautiful night and the patio was lovely so we ordered entrees, and more wine. Over all we were there close to two and a half hours.
I would suggest this place for a romantic date. They have a lovely patio, but you can still hear the cars on Memorial, but the patio has lots of willow trees that are nice to look at. A reservation is not required, but I definitely recommend it!

great everything, but food prep is eh.
starting with the salad and finishing with the dessert, everything was fresh and made in-house. unfortunately the chef's handling of these ingredients was less than inspired. maybe he was having an off day or something...I'll definitely go back to find out. it certainly wasn't bad, but I think more could be done with what I saw.
Service was friendly and attentive, decorations were a step above a "cafe", but not so formal as a restaurant. I'd like to go back to try the weekend brunch and give the chefs a second chance!
