“Highly recommended as a great lunch spot or a perfect spot for a romantic dinner.”

“Finding a great restaurant for a special dinner in the Cypress area has been impossible until now, but Mezzanotte has changed all of that!”
“We had a wonderful evening and will definitely be back.”
“The service was outstanding.”
“Same wonderful food at fast food prices!”
Best Italian in NW Houston & Cypress area! The decor is very eclectic, Gerry & Adriana are the ultimate host, and the food is incredible! I have tried almost everything on the menu. My favorites include the lasagna, Chicken Marsala, and Lamb Chops. It is fine dining but they welcome families also. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
SERVICE SUCKED!!!!!!. SERVICE SUCKED, TOOK FOREVER TO GET WAITED ON, WAS NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY AT ALL...MY TODDLER HAD TO SIT IN HER FREAKIN CAR SEAT!!!! TO TOP IT ALL OFF.....THEY INCLUDED 25% GRATUITY FOR A PART OF SIX FOR SERVICE THAT TOTALLY SUCKED!!!! HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED.
Best NW Houston Restaurant.
This place is the absolute best destination in NW Houston and can stand toe-to-toe with any Houston restaurant.
1. The food is original and exciting,
2. The owners (Gerry/Adriana) are exquisite hosts,
3. The staff are all very professional (Jacob is our guy but Jarred is also excellent)
4. Various wine tastings, tapas nights, other exciting events
You owe it to yourself to try this place!
Disappointing Valentine's dinner. This restaurant was recommended to me by a friend, so I looked at the menu online and found quite a few items that looked good. I had incidentally found a coupon for Mezzanotte online for $25 off, so I encouraged my significant other that we should go there for a romantic Italian dinner. I have rarely been so disappointed in a restaurant, though. We were seated at a tiny table in the middle of other tiny tables full of people (understandable, considering it was Valentine's evening). We felt like we were eating dinner with the other couples we were so close to them. When we were seated, we were given menus with only three choices listed for the appetizers, one salad, three choices for the entree, and one dessert...for $55 each. I was disappointed to find that nothing I'd found interesting on the online menu was on there...and here we were expected to pay a lot more than I was expecting to. Here's where it was our mistake. We should have gotten up and left, but we decided to give it a try. The appetizer was okay, not bad, the salad was tiny with no dressing on it (had to ask for extra), the entree of filet mignon was very good, the chicken dish wasn't memorable, and the dessert was pretty good - the tiramisu was my favorite part of the meal. I left not even full, though, and I only weigh 120 pounds, so I'm sure my significant other wasn't pleasantly full either. When the check came, it totaled $130 (including the tip). We were told they weren't honoring the coupon that night (nothing said about that on the coupon). Okay, yes, another mistaking for not asking first. So, we'll accept some of the blame for a disappointing Valentine's dinner because we didn't leave when we discovered the limited menu and for not asking about them taking the coupon, but I feel so ripped off that we had to pay $130 for a fairly mediocre, very sparse dinner jammed in the place like sardines. I tore up my coupon for Mezzanotte. I won't be back...and will advise my friends to skip it also.
Disappointed at Citysearch. It is hard to believe that a reputable on-line publication like Citysearch doesn't have people monitoring what is submitted. The previous review is a blatant personal attack written by probably a fired employee or a ruthless competitor. If Citysearch were to have an editor attacks like this would not be published. Please Citysearch be careful with what you publish, otherwise you will not be providing a service to the general public but a forum for personal vendettas.
Never Go here. I will start with the beginning of the day when they get their food delivered to them. Often times it will sit in the back alley for a hour baking in the hot sun, then after having to push cockroaches off of some of the product they put it in their cooler, which when I was last there was deemed unusable by the health department. Next comes food prep and lunch time. Not only have I seen them send out ROTTEN meat, they defrost food in their dish sinks, with dirty dishes piling up on them. They never use sanitation buckets, and when they handle raw chicken they don't wash their hands afterward. The product they use is the worst quality I have ever seen, Which I might mention they charge an arm and a leg for. Cockroaches everywhere, their desserts are frozen, one cook looks at porn during his break, and seafood is not held at the proper temperature to be safe. Unprofessional, rude, and stupid. Skip this place, you will only be disappointed. Whatever anyone argues don't listen to them. Also, half of the reviews on this website are obviously from friends or family of the owner, don't trust them, this place is awful, maybe only one decent Italian place in cypress, and that would be cafe amore, the owner there really cares about his food.

Best place in Cypress. Super service and great food.
Overpriced;save your money. was there last night and after a hard day at work I want to enjoy some great food. Well this isn't the place. I left still feeling hungry and ripped off. I got 4 shrimp and 5 tortellini for $25. What a rip off!!!! should have saved my money. I told the wait staff and the chef how I felt in a very professional manner and both of them did NOTHING! Wow, what customer service. I will never go back there and recommend you to never go there. Save your money and go somewhere else.
Sounds like this person doesn't belong in an upscale restaurant. Mezzanotte serves generous portions (however, not gigantic).
Great Hideaway. The staff at Mezzanotte is great. They remember you when you come in. The food is great and the wine choices are wonderful. This is a great place to go for a good meal in a relaxed atmosphere. They also have some great entertainers on Friday and Saturday night. I bring frinds and family here and they all love it.
Wonderful food and entertainment. We were looking for a restaurant in the Cypress,Tx area and found the ratings and reviews of this place, Food is wonderful, and the beautiful voice of singer Karenna Lee set the tone for a wonderful experience. Our waiter was great and very kind to our 5 year old daughter. I would recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy a very nice evening with fine dining to visit this restaurant.
