Just ok. This place is ok. Sound is good but sounds a bit like you are in the shower at times. The wait in line for the bar tends to be terribly long for sold out shows. The place is clean. Drinks are WAY OVERPRICED. I was there recently and a fight broke out and even though there were like 20 security people there, they did NOTHING. I've been to better places and will most likely avoid this place unless my favorite bands are playing there.

awesome experience!. i dont understand. most of the reviews that i have seen from the warehouse were negative. my wife and i just saw switchfoot and this place kicks butt!!! the barstaff were nice. drinks were strong and i dont mind security much. id rather have them there that not be there. standing room only is pretty standard at a concert so no seats, no problem. you are there to rock with these guys not write a poem about them! parking was only five bucks. usually its 10-15 in downtown for valet anyway. i guess who you see there makes a difference. switchfoot brought good peeps out. no fights, no spew, no bud!!! (thats afterwards). i highly recommed this place. people that complained about security were probably the same jerks that started shyt anyway. flyleaf is going there and i think i might go.

Amazing. Ive seen/played/been to a lot of clubs all around the US. So I appreciate every aspect this place has to offer. Its very CLEAN! The soud system is awesome. The Lights are what really got my attention. All the inteligent lighting over the crowd. Its allways a blast when I go to Warehouse Live.

Slow bartenders, very crowded when sold out, nice ambience, good sound, large and spacious. I went to see Ratatat and The Faint, which was a Camel sponsored event. Those who got free tickets from Camel had to stand in a loooong line, and those who bought their tickets got priority on entrance. Good so far. I wait in the free ticket line for about 45 minutes. Still, I'm OK with that...it was Camel's fault for giving out 2000 tickets to a venue with a capacity of 1500. I get inside, say hi to my friends, and go to the bar in the club room (less crowded, I figured I'd get my drink faster in there) for a drink. I stand there and stand there. 30 MINUTES GO BY AND I HAVE YET TO BE ACKNOWLEDGED BY THE BARTENDER. My friends, who were way behind me in line, were on the other side of the bar and got served within minutes. They came to my side of the bar and we stood around. The girl next to me, who was at the bar when I got there, was being ignored by the bartender as well. Another 10-15 minutes later, I had another friend on the other side of the bar get my drink for me. I waited a little longer because I needed water, then gave up. I'm not the type to yell to get a bartender's attention (I'm in the industry myself, and I know how crappy that is), so she lost out on my tip.

More or less, I'm complaining about that bartender and not the venue. The rest of the bartenders seemed to be getting drinks right out. It probably would have been a good idea to have more than two bartenders per bar, though.

Other than that, it was cool. The place was a bit crowded, but the decor was really nice and the preservation of the warehouse was nice. The sound seemed good. Annoyingly, they liked to get under your feet and clean during the show, though. I was thankful for the nazi-like cleaning later, though, when I watched a girl get sick over the railing and right onto the GA area floor. All in all, it was a nice place. Just don't expect the cute blonde bartender with the big chest and tattooed arm to get your drink to you before the show ends.

Security is The Gestapo!. This place could be really cool if:

1. Security relaxes!! I've never been to a music venue where there's a barricade between the crowd and the stage? C'mon! This isn't prison. There were three HUGE guys up front for an Ozomatli show! I guess they thought guns would be brought in... Even one of the band members noticed and began to make jokes of all the security.

2. They lower the beer prices. $4 for Lone Star! Gimme a break! Go ahead and bend me over on that one!

3. Lighting. It's nearly lit up during the show. Not cool.

This place is making a killing on expensive ticket prices and drinks. It could very well be a nice spot if they tone down the security and not have the people cleaning up the place during the damn show! I'm watching the show and a cleaning guy asks me to move so he can clean up the trash on the ground! GOD DAMMIT! Get the fuuk out of my way man, I'm trying to enjoy the show!

Screw this place.

Warehouse District music venue for big name touring acts and up-and-coming bands.. In Short
Inside a converted 1920's era warehouse is one of Houston's more modern, mid-sized concert venues. Featuring touring acts from Sonic Youth to Pink, this repurposed building boasts a large stage area and sharp sound and lighting systems. The 1,500-capacity venue ballroom has two bars, one of which opens up into a cozier more club-like venue named Studio for smaller rock and hip-hop performances. The crowd varies depending on the event, but count on a good show.

Great Show Experience. Okay, I was completely freaked out about seeing Arctic Monkeys here after reading the reviews, especially since I am on crutches and knew this was a sold out show. But I could not have had a better experience, handicapped or not! After waiting outside for my husband to park the car, on my crutches, once we passed through security, someone with the venue came to us and said they had somewhere for us to be during the show. Turns out it was right off the side of the stage at the front where I could sit the whole time. And even right next to the speakers the sound was great! The show started right on time. Only downfall was the expensive beer prices. $6 Heinekens/$3 Lone Stars. Besides that - the venue was cool and LA and the staff were really nice!

DISASTER. I went to Warhouse Live last nite to see Tiesto.........and he didnt come on until MIDNIGHT.......by that time my wife and I were HIGHLY upset because we had purchased VIP tickets and there was no difference between VIP and GA....expect a few chairs in the VIP area.....DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!

OK venue. OK venue....needs better sound system. For a gig like Imogen you need a quality sound system to get the vocals across. Unless you are standing right in front, you hear nothing clearly. The fact that it is standing room only is ok but my gosh give the customer a quality listening experience. Can you relate to a concert in the Astrodome???

Warehouse Live Needs Help. No chairs, I repeat, No chairs anywhere! We were standing for 4 hours waiting for our show to start. Tickets said 8:30pm for the main show. Opener started at 10pm, our show did not start until midnight. Staff did not seem to care that we were upset or that our expectations were not met. Will NEVER go there again.
