Nice Setting, Unisex Bathroom, Bias doorman and Credit Card Dispute. Just as stateded above, "Nice Setting, Unisex Bathroom, Bias doorman and Credit Card Dispute" and nothing more. The spot has a great setting, music was great, atomoshpere was trendy. However, we went on a Friday night and if you are expecting a mixed crowd- turn around and go back to your car! Don't let the old pictures fool you, it was primary a ton of one race! The doorman did enforce shoe dress code to one person about him wearing tennis shoes, but when you go inside there were so many other guys that had on tennis shoes. Bias doorman without a doubt. The unisex bathroom was extremely dirty with no toilet paper and a pathetic way to save space. Ladies, might as well stay away from drinking for the night , unless you would like to use a toilet that is highly urinated on and around like a urinal. Key thing for those that would like to go here- dont use your credit card. Purchased two drinks and closed the tab immediately after, signed for the amount (the bartender was even given a 20% tip). Few days later, the charge on my statement appeared 3 times more than what was signed for. Error-maybe; greed/fraud- probably; headache now that you have to dispute the charge- YES. One thing is for sure that you can't trust this place unless you want to be taken advantage of. Better off at the other clubs/bars in Midtown.

Nice place but HORRIBLE customer service...WON. My girlfriends & I regularly visited Hue. Over time we've spent quite a bit on bottles & drinks & really enjoyed the atmosphere, that is until the arrogant, disrespectful, & extremely rude parkng attendnt left a group of us w/ a bad taste in our mouth, thus we will NOT be returning! After the Christina Aguilera concert we headed to Hue for an afterparty, we approched the prkng lot & decided to self park since there were plenty of avail spots. After parkng, the attendnt approachd our vehicles & demanded we park them closer so he could fit more cars..we complied. Then he rudely demanded a 10 dllr prkng fee. I went on to question the fee since normally self park has no charge...Rudely he remarked that either we pay or leave because we were wasting his time?? There was only one other car prkng & they were right beside us. I took out a 20 & handed it to him to cover both my Hummer & my friend's Mustang..he tossed change to me without paying attention that I was paying for 2. When I told him it was for 2 he snatched the $ from my hand & walked off, being aggrivated by his attitude, I remarked "Sh1t!" he went into a rampage of "move your fu@kng car or I'll have it towed" & "don't get a fu@kn attitude w/ me" at this point one of my girlfriends remarked "idiot" & he lost it! He threw the 10dlls on my Hummer & said we better "fu@ckng leave" & that he was going to have them not let us in. He then snatched the $ right back & said that we thought we were "all that" only because we were driving a Hummer. I asked for my money back since we were going 2 leave & he said too late "no refunds" when a min earlier he was throwing our money back & threatening us to leave!Nevertheless...our idea of a good time does not include paying to be rudely disrespected or insulted much less having to worry about a childish prkng attendnt doing something to our cars. I don't mind paying for parking or cover fees, BUT i do not expect to be paying & being treated like Sh1t!!

professional service. From 1staff: Here at Hue, we provide the best service to existing customers and new comers to the club. We try to treat people with the upmost respect when you choose this club to have a good time. Sometimes

you will have a line due to the capacity crowds. I advise you stay calm and form a line as requested by the doorman. Your attitude determines if you enter the club. Please have your valid I.D. to make your entry into the club quickly. If you want extra service, make sure you compensate what you request. Everybody likes good service. We provide the best in this beautiful and friendly atmosphere. Remember dress appropiate.

We'll c u soon.

for the crowd with class.... Man I love getting on here to read people complain about door guys and bartenders and bouncers... I'm mean come on, are your really that much of a loser to not understand the way things work in Houston? stay your #ss at home if you have such a problem "upscale_miguel"... "Oh door guy is small and has an ugly jacket and i have to pay $20 to not wait in line, boo hoo, oh i'm so gay lookin that i will never be picked out of the crowd, so i come on websites and vent my feelings".boo hoo.. your gay. the fact of the matter is your #ss still goes there and still contributes to the door guys income... so as long as you keep goin and keep payin then shut your mouth homey... if I go ANYWHERE that has a line outside, long or short, I tip, it's the way it is and it's the way it has been for YEARS! as it is the door guy doesn't have to be big, check ALL the door guys in Midtown.... NONE are "big"... they just know how to handle drunk cheap fools like I'm sure you are... I would bet my life your that cat that sits on the wall bobbin his head with the same beer in your hand for like 2 hours cause your too cheap to get your drink on and too scared to talk to any fine ladies that be in the club... loser... stay home or...

QUIT BIT&HIN!!!!

Good dance club. When this place first opened, they tried too hard to be exclusive. In Houston, being an exclusive bar is a joke. I don't like long lines or putting up with BS, but Hue turned around and now it's a decent night club.

Not too shabby. I'm not into these kinds of places, but my lady friend loves this place. I have to admit, it isn't bad. The women in that place are nice looking, but I think the vast majority of male tanning bed managers go there every night. The DJ's always play a fun mix of music. I don't know where the line stuff comes from. I've never had to wait and the only time I ever see people waiting is when they try to go in there sausage fest style. The drinks are pricey, but at least the bartenders are good though I'd still like cheaper drinks.

Tip the "Poser" Bouncer?. After hearing all of the rants and raves of HUE, I decided to give it a try. I heard a lot on how they were really shady about letting people in but kind of didn't believe it, boy was I wrong. The re-tard guy at the door didn't let me because it was supposedly "VIP" only. I was like VIP only? Then he was like, "Take care of me and I can help you get in." Basically, give 20$ and you can get in, while other people just walked right in free of charge. Give me a break, my girl had walked in the door about 2 minutes before I did (I stopped to pay the parking attendant 8$ to park in a pothole filled dirt lot) and he just smiled and let her in. Luckily a couple of people I knew were walking up and they said I was with them and I got in. Inside the club is ok but VIP only? Please. The place isnt really all that glamorous, trust me. The best thing about this place is maybe the somewhat reasonably priced drinks. If you want to have a good time and not waste your night at the door, skip Hue and go to a downtown club.

Young & Stupid. A couple of years ago when I was trying to act "cool" I would have loved this place. My girlfriends and I would stroll past the doorman and get approached by sleazy guys all night. But a few years and a couple hundered bars later, Hue can't help but be reminded of my younger stupider days.

Get a new door man or you'll lose business quick!. Used to like this place but this past Saturday changed my mind. I got to the door with my friends and the doorman (Frankie J wannabe....works at Mantra too; he accepts large tips from guys to get in. It's amazing how big his ego is from working a door) told us that they were at full capacity. We were about to leave when we look over and see him let other people in. He said they were already there and were renentering....If that was the case why did he check their ID's again? Watch out for this guy, he's full of it....
