Stiff Drinks and Great Food. Tommy's has great food if you know what to order. The ribs are great and the seafood dishes are superb. Prices are high, but what do you expect from a restaurant attached to a store that sells $50 t-shirts? The bar scene picks up for happy hour almost every day, and on the weekends, it turns into a more festive place with great people watching. It's pretty much a pickup joint for the over 40 crowd in the Woodlands. Ladies beware - most of the men hitting on you are married. Men beware - there are quite a few divorcees trolling for someone to augment their child support. There's also a fair amount of totally normal , fun loving people hanging out too - so it can be one of the best places to be on a weekend night in the Woodlands!

We love this place!. I've eaten here several times and have always enjoyed it. The food is really good, even though it is a little pricey. It's TB though. If you'll pay the prices for their clothes, you shouldn't have a problem with the prices of their food.

I love sitting in the sunroom during the spring and fall, but inside is nice year round.

Sometimes I feel like we're made to wait longer than is necessary to be seated. I can't figure out what takes them so long.

It ok--average. The food and service is good but when you add into the mix their prices...it takes them from 5 star to 3 star!! Perrys, Jaspers, even Kirbys would be a 1st choice over TB!

Great food, good dining experience. Me and a co-worker went last Friday and I tried this restaurant for the first time. I thought it was delicious! Even though it's expensive the dishes are wonderful and the chef gets big props! I thought the ambience of the restaurant and the decor DID feel like being in the Islands. The service was great and the food made me definetly want to go back again!

I recommend it!

Fabulous Service. We had lunch at TB's last week before heading to the airport. We were immediately seated in a wonderful booth overlooking the "very hot" outdoor patio - it was perfect! Rachel was our server and she is a fabulous server who knows her stuff, had a wonderful repoire with us and made a very memorable lunch. I love this restaurant and am disappointed in the other reviews I read. The food was wonderful - scallop sliders and the grouper sandwich! and desserts are to die for. Thanks for a super day and keep up the good work.

Stay away from this restaurant!. My wife and I visited Tommy Bahama's a couple of weeks ago, but didn't get to enjoy the food as another guess had arrived at our table just before we were seated. It was a nice big juicy insect (this review service will not let me spell out the word C O C K R O A C H for some reason). I quickly snapped a photo of it with my camera phone as It scurried across a picture frame above the table.

After I took the picture, we immediately got up to leave. I'm glad that other customers around us could see why we were leaving.

As we walked out the door, I showed the hostess the picture I had taken and told her why we were leaving. She just shrugged. We will never go back.

Slow service, Overpriced food. This is a very expensive restaurant, but in this case, you don't get what you pay for. I visited this restaurant for lunch yesterday around 2:30, and even though the place was more than half empty, it still took the server over 45 minutes to deliver a sandwich and two salads. My salad was decent, but certainly wasn't worth it based on the price and the slow service. Do your self a favor, if your in The Woodlands, go to a different restaurant.

Bad Service Experience. I took some friends out to celebrate their gradutions. One of them had dated one of the waiters and she did not want to see him for fear it would be akward. When we asked the hostess & host who our server would be they wouldn't tell us. They wanted to know why we wanted to know and when we explained it they insisted on knowing who it was. I reluctantly gave them the name and then asked them not to say anything. Our meal was okay, except for them delivering a chicken quesadilla to our vegetarian. When it came time for our dessert to be brought out the server we were trying to avoid delivered it to us. He then proceeded to sit down and ask us why we didn't want to see him. I was floored at the immaturity of the host staff and their desparted need to gossip. I won't return.

The Woodlands location - Boring Menu and Insanely Over Priced!. The Woodlands location - Boring Menu and Insanely Over Priced!

$28.00+ for 4 undercooked scallops and 3 tiny shrimp over a cup of rice?? We had to ask for bread, and were presented with a 4" square "loaf" of bread for 4 adults. Crab bisque was best thing on menu, but at $6.50 a cup?? $30.00 pork tenderloin was dry and chewy - 4 tiny stalks of aspargus??.

Place is always busy, so guess they just don't have to worry about quality or variety any longer. So, if you go there, for one drink, one cup of soup and one entre', expect to easily be presented with at least a $50 per person bill.

They have seen us for the last time, and we live here.

Great Woodlands Addition. My wife and I love to go here. I don't mind the shopping either... who minds a hawaiian shirt every now and then? Anyway, the food is great, the location is great, and on Thursdays, they have live music in the outside area. This is the only Tommy Bahama store and restaurant NOT on the beach....
