I saw cockroaches near the dessert tray!!. I have visited Bombay Garden many times over the last few years, and its condition has worsened every time. I hoped that may be the management will see to it, but I have decided to not got there again.

The reason, simply being that on my last visit, I saw roaches near the dessert tray in a buffet. Food was terrible and dried out and cold.

Too bad.

Nostalgic and Irresistable. My family and I eat dine out alot. My wife and I always spoke about the indian style chinese food that we have in Bombay and missed having it here in houston. When I read in the Houston chronicle about Bombay Garden serving Indo-chinese food , we decided we just had to visit it. The Chicken lollipops were simply irresistable with the spicy schezwan dip, the manchow soup, the shrimp noodles, fried rice were so spicy & tasty, the closest we had ever tasted to the chinese food in Bombay. My children who are so fussy about food just loved it. They also serve Goan shrimp curry and fried fish which is highly appreciated by my wife who hails from Goa. Since our first visit, we are frequent visitors and have never been disappointed. I recommend it to everyone -especially my fellow indians - feels like back home

Fantastic food - IF you know what to order. My wife and I've visited hundreds of restaurants in Houston with only a handful making our repeat-visit list. This is one of them. Both from Bombay originally, we know what to look for in authentic Indo-chinese cuisine. And we find it in some of Bombay Garden's dishes. The chicken lollipops are an absolute must, if you arent sure what they are consider them chilli-garlic chicken wings and trust us on this one! You may never visit Hooters again (for the wings ;) Vindaloo and Goan Curry are excellent here as well!

the worst food i've ever had in my life. i'm an indian american have heard about fusions of chinese-indian food back in the motherland so i was expecting yumminess. we went and the food was so bad even my dad who can force himself to eat anything couldnt have more then one bite. it was nearly empty which became obvious to us when we took the first and last bite into the food. it was horrid. really. no flavor whatsoever. not chinese, not indian, not american. i was shocked that the person was even able to open a restaurant with food that was so horrendous.

we respectfully and kindly told the lady that we couldnt eat it and she was very gracious, offering the buffet which was just as bad. they have polite service, if they get a chef or heck read some recipes on line they might have customers.
