The Best Seafood Place. Excellent service!!! The food is marvelous, awesome, just GOOD. I recommend this place to a friend for her birthday...They were just overjoyed at the food and service..
Best seafood besides NOLA. Fresh, great seafood and service. Lots of atmosphere and very nice people enjoying themselves as much as we were!! Back soon.
Great Restaurant.
We went with some friends to Denis, and we all loved the food and atmosphere. It is the best place we have been.
I would recommend everyone try it. The appetizers are great and the food was awesome. TRY IT!!
The best!.
Great food and wide variety menu. Atmosphere is wonderful. Wait staff was polite and very helpful.
Will not go anywhere else!!
Love this place!!!.
We've eaten at Denis Seafood many times and I can honestly say we've never had a bad experience. Their crabcakes are to die for. Especially the jumbo lump crabcakes. For a true-blue crab lover like me, they are perfection. For appetizers, we had (what else?) the blackened crab claws and they were amazingly fresh and cooked to perfection.
I love the ambience of the inside, it's very "woodsy" and cozy and the bar is always packed. We reserved the wine room once for a big group dinner and it was perfect.
However, the outside patio is my favorite place to dine at Denis. You feel like you're miles away from all the hustle and bustle of Houston. My favorite table is just a few feet away from the fountain. We've always had good service and the staff makes us feel so welcomed.
If you've never tried Denis Seafood, I highly recommend it. In fact, it's been a few weeks since we've been. Hopefully, I can talk my husband into taking me tonight!
No Reason To Go Elsewhere. This place has it all...fresh delicious food, excellent service and a kickin' atmosphere! I've tried all the other seafood restaurants in Houston and they don't hold a candle to Denis'. Management is constantly trying to improve on the already stellar dining experience and should be commended. Two thumbs up!
Great place for Seafood. My husband and I have eaten here many times for special occassions or just for a great meal! The service and staff are top notch! The seafood is very fresh and the menu has a large variety . We always get the seafood salsa as an appetizer which is wonderful and their bread pudding is amazing! We would recommend to anyone!
Seafood?.
Family dinner - 7 people, selected variety of dishes; steak was small for 32.95, overpriced, not cooked properly, too rare [moo!]. Chicken dish w/seafood topping, dry & little taste. Catfish, not fresh at all. Salmon was Ok. Fried scallops Ok. Shrimp dishes were Ok. Nothing was really memorable about the food.
For the money, expected better food, service was very good and attentive.
BEST FRESH SEAFOOD IN TOWN. WE LOVE THE WHOLE FRIED CATFISH! CAN'T SEEM TO FIND IT ANYWHERE ELSE.
Survival of the Great Legends.
With all the great seafood restaurants born in Houston, this one is still providing the freshest fish. I hadn't visited since the old Westheimer location, and I was re-introduced to one of my favorite seafood legends forgotten. My server actually had worked at the old location, and much to my surprise there were others as well.
Rick waited on me, and provided a wonderful dining experience. We had the stuffed Flounder and he served tableside. A beautiful presentation. Wine was $10 off a bottle (already reasonable prices) and the bread pudding was a perfect ending. My old neighborhood destination is a bit further to drive, and well worth it. With many of Houston's seafood restaurants becoming chains, I'm glad I re-discovered someone who does knows seafood Louisiana style.
