Pretty cool.. Beginning to Fininsh. Discount for students & Seniors, none for Military or Law Enforcement -1. Ordered my wife a Margarita which tasted weak. -1. Chairs where comfortable to eat in but had no option to recline seats at all for movie. -1. Unable to put Arm Rest in upright postion to be close to my wife -2. Table could have been slightly larger. Server was niice and informative. Food was good, prices were good. movie was good. concept of dinner & movie at same time was very good and absence of all the kids hanging out was a nice change from typical 30 cinema facility. I would like to give Star Cinema 4 0ut of 5 stars and consider 5 stars if the seats were modified and discount was given to Military & Law enforcement. My wife feels compassionate and said to give you 4 out of 5 stars.

MY FAVORITE PLACE TO WATCH A MOVIE!!!!!. I LOVE this place!! Especially on Tuesdays and Thursdays when its only $5 to get in and there a beer and wing specials! Its a great alternative to larger chains that always have throngs of kids and teenagers running around! It is geared to a 21 and up crowd! The food is good for the pricing, as everything is under $10. The menu has a wide variety of selections especially considering they serve several hundred people simultaneously! My husband and I go at least once a week. I can even get him to see a chick flick after he gets a drink from the bar! :)

Star Cinema Grill-Webster Tx. Wow, I wish I had read these reviews before we went this last weekend! We've been to others in other towns before and loved it. We got there a little early before the movie and was writing out our order while the lights were all still one.

Then, out of the corner of my eye, I saw something run across the floor in front of us! At first I thought it was a little kitty cat, but then I realized it wasn't a kitty cat it was a RAT!!!! I screamed! My husband asked what was wrong and then the rat ran to the aisle we were sitting on. He saw it too. It was a big rat!!! We walked out immediately and asked for a refund. The staff didn't seem alarmed. One of the managers asked if that was our only concern. My husband said.. Uh yeah if you have rats running around the place that is a huge concern. I, myself, am terrified of rats and was so shaken up. They gave us a refund but I wish I had stopped others from sitting in that! I'm so glad we at least saw it before the lights went off. I'm not into that kind of 4 D movie!!!!!!

This review is only about Webster Tx's Star Cinema Grill. I haven't had a complaint about any others we have visited, but I don't think I will be visiting any of them any time soon.

Rats..... I love the concept of this place, but I just don't think it's being run properly. My boyfriend and I have been several times over the last few years and I've always had the vague impression that it's just kind of dirty. This was confirmed at my last visit in January. Once the lights in the theater went down and the movie started I saw a big rat run by me. I nearly screamed, but I convinced myself that I couldn't possibly have seen a rat. Unfortunately I saw it two more times during the course of the movie. I'd like to think that it was just a cold night and the rat happened to slip through an open door, but I can't bring myself to go back to this place. I did file a complaint with the health department right after the incident, so hopefully they've been by to inspect the place and everything is sorted out now. I still don't think I can go back here.

Great Movie, Good Food, No kids. Great place to catch a movie, have a beer, and not worry about crying babies. It more than makes up for the lower quality movie experience. The food is good, the tickets are cheaper than most of the other area theaters. Go on Tues or Thurs for great drink and food specials.

WAITRESS DISAPPEARS AT STAR GRILL-----TAKEN MAYBE----. WAITRESS DISAPPEARED AT STAR GRILL

My wife and I had a rare date night Saturday night 1/31/2009 and went to Star Grill to see 'Taken'. We had been invited there once before and it was different so we wanted to try it as a couple.

We seated ourselves before the screen put up previews, we were at the 7:40PM show. It was 20-30 minutes before the waitress came by...to tell us how to use the order form...we wrote our order and she came back 10 minutes later and picked it up. She returned with the iced tea my wife ordered....AND then she disappeared!

The movie began and we waited and waited...we pushed everything that looked like a button on and under the table but no response.

At this point we said let's watch the movie and eat afterward.....this food thing must be a joke!

When the movie was about 15-20 minutes from ending a different waitress came to us and asked if we received our food; I said no and she was gone before I could say another word. I didn't want to disturb others so I sat and stewed in my seat!!!

Ten minutes later a waiter brought us a bill and droipped it on the table and left. I couldn't read it until the movie was over. The invoice was for the iced tea....The iced tea had not been drank but a sip, waiting on food so I put the tea on the invoice and walked out.

When we arrived home, no we did not eat out, we called to talk to the manager and complain...AFTER more than 15 minutes on hold we disconnected!

Their movie price is $1.00 cheaper than Cinemark and they do deliver food...to some people....so we don't know if we will ever go back if we don't hear from someone there.

I am a handicapped white guy 57 years old, not in a chair, maybe that was the problem....

First Timer. Well..I went to Star Cinema Grill for my first time last night. I enjoyed the concept, but was disappointed when our food came cold! It was good but cold! And it got worse when they didn't bring back my credit card when I was paying. We had to bring it to their attention! The women's restrooms did stink like there was urine everywhere. Again I really liked the concept of eating and watching a movie at the same time, but I had a whole different view of what it would be like. I was also suggest that at every table there should be a little light that you can turn off and on to eat and see. Overall, the best part was the movie, Gran Turino..loved it! I would go again to give the place a second chance because I would hope that this is not how they normally operate.

What a Cool place to go. I must say that I had a very different experience than some of the other reviews I have read about this very cool place. I dont drink so the bar is not what I will be writing about, although it seems to have just about anything you could think of.

My wife and I went and got excellent service from our waitress, and I highly recommend the Chipolie wrap with beef. I just love that thing, it is sooo good. Our seats were not uncomfortable, although they are not recliners like at the other expensive theatre, I was not destracted by the seat. All of our lights on the table in front of us worked and the place was clean.

There are not enough neat ideas being used in todays "fast food" marketplace. This place is a great way to spend an evening with your gal. I did not see alot of kids and babys there which is a bonus when you want a more adult crowd around you. I recommend it to anyone.

Better to go across the NASA. The food is WAY overpriced as the quality is not good at all but the prices are high. The seating is terrible and uncomfortable, service is alright (although I am sure it is because they are tipped poorly and have no need to be as good as a regular server), but the only true selling point is the full bar. It would be better to just get slightly better food right around the corner at the other regular theater, but they do not have a full bar. Something about being able to have a beer, a glass of wine, or a mixed drink that has made this place stay alive. They usually have most of the regular movies, although I am sure that most distributors would rather their film get bigger numbers in a larger, better theater; maybe that's why they seem to be missing some of the big movies and want to overcompensate by having more brainless girl movies.

No need to try to sell up movies we wouldn't GET paid to see such as Seks in the City when something much better is playing a block away with much better seating. Anything is better than that movie to spend any kind of money you have to spend; unless, of course, your life is just that sad as to waste money on a lame television show finale AT BEST for entertainment. Perhaps these idiotic so-called women have something more important to say with goofier clothes than what's going on, but I highly doubt it. If you want to get drunk and drive, then save your money and get drunk before you go to the other theater and save your money. Unless you are not bright when you are sober and want to get drunk at some place to eat terrible food because you just have money to burn to try to impress whomever.

If you want food that is not a waste to the insides of your guts as well as your ATM card, then don't go here. If you just want an excuse to have a glass of wine in a very uncomfortable seat to see the same movie playing everywhere else, then by all means go to Star. We won't be.

Just go for the movie. I use to like this place, but it is starting to go down hill fast!!!

The servers are teens and hardly come around, to check the buttons that don't work in the first place. The food is never warm. Their drinks are watered down and taste like sugar. And the place is dirty. Don't be too picky and think you will have a clean bathroom, or one that has soap or toilet paper...because this is not the place, remember teens are working there.

If you want an over priced drink go to Houston. If you want to eat, go before or after you see your movie, or bring a snack, if you are brave and order. We got our meal when our server brought our check at last call.

I would suggest not having too high standards when visiting.
