We had a great time at ZAKE. great bar drink and service. i did not come for while, bartenders have so many ideas for new things. sushi and drinks. what can u ask more??? we love Jazz , Johnson & Dean!!!!! UH students group.

The service was great! I love the new manager. He was very attentive and makes a great mojito. The sake bombs are awesome as well.

I had a wonderful experience at Zake about a week ago. I sat at the bar and the bartender Jazz was so friendly. We even joked around with her about a few things. I love the diversity of the staff and how they all seem so close and work well together. The food was very good and their happy hour drinks were delicious the strawberry drink that was just added is my new favorite.

Zake is different from what I used to remember. The special lunch set was a really good deal and tasted great. Server is very friendly and knowledgable.

Rude managers and uninformed staff. The managers here demonstrated the worst customer service I've ever seen in my life! Please do not patronize this restaurant because they care nothing about making customers happy and honoring their promotions. There was hardly anyone in there on this Saturday night (01/21/12) at 9:00 p.m. and the customer service is most likely the reason. A friend of mine and I both bought a coupon for Zake from a site that is similiar to livingsocial. Before we ordered we asked the hotstess and waitress if we both could use our coupon because it did not say one per table on the coupon, it only said one per couple. There was four of us at the table and none of us was a couple. The hostess and waitress told us yes but when it was time to pay they both were gone. The new waiter did not believe or care that they had told us the wrong information before we even ordered. We asked for the manager and he told us, oh no you don't want me to go get him! As if we should be scared of the manager of this restaurant. Well once he came he basically told us we were lieing about what the previous waitress told us and he would not honor it. As a manager he should have honored both coupons because it was his employee's mistake and just took the loss. Instead he argued with us and even told one of us to shut up. They finally gave up after calling the waitress and she admitted what she told us but instead of apologizing they told us to leave and we don't want your kind here anyway, the kind that wants everything for free. We didnt want anything free, we only wanted our coupon, that we purchased online for $12 by the way, to be honored.

I wouldn't recommend my dog to go to that restaurant because that is basically what we were treated like and you should never have to be treated that way in what is supposed to be a nice establishment. I wish I would've got the managers' names but you can't miss the little short homosexual one. He has an outright nasty attitude and he can tell you who his sidekick is. This company does not deserve or appreciate your business so I suggest you take it elsewhere. Thanks!

Bad Service. So-so food. Not going back.. Service was terrible.

Didn't have several beers on the menu.They assumed I wanted bottled beer instead of draught when i didn't specify. Who would want a smaller beer that is not as good for more money? Not me. They STILL brought me bottled beer when I specified draught, so I returned it. Some food took forever. Some never came and had to be ordered again. Some drinks never came and had to be ordered again. We had to return some of the sushi that was low quality, as it had been pre-prepared and left in a fridge to dry out. The server had not kept track of who had what, and we had to do a lot of work to help him split up the check.We were obviously there for happy hour with friends and a half-decent waiter would have assumed we might split the check. Most the sushi at the table was pretty good but not amazing or spectacular,

Overall the prices were really great for Happy Hour. And my sushi was pretty good, but not the best ever. I think our specific waiter was really the problem with our visit. He just couldn't figure out simple things. Later in the evening we reordered some stuff that never made it, but from the guy who sat us (I heard he was the manager possibly) and the food came immediately.

I won't be going back because there are plenty of Happy Hour sushi places around town, and we will be trying those.

Great night starter. My boyfriend and I tend to eat dinner here before a night out in the town. Nice, relaxed atmosphere. Fresh sushi, great drinks, menu knowledgable, friendly servers.

Run away!. it really doesn't deserve any stars. i ordered the chicken skewer and i'm pretty sure jack and the box has better quality chicken. after that i decided to try one more item - the tuna tataki and it was just as bad. this is the first time i couldn't eat any food i ordered in a restaurant.

The food was awesome. I have been twice to Zeke's bother times I had the same server A nice young man named Stewart. By far one of the best servers I have had in any restaurant Thumbs up guy. My wife and I love the Bento Box's. It is all most too much food for her but just enough me. The quality of the sushi is great and fresh. So for I have had the Sushi Comb, the Miso soup, Catsu Chicken and Teriayaki Salmon. I love this place for Sunday lunch. It is awesome.

Thanks guys for and awesome meal. My wife I loved it.
