The service at TR has definitely gone downhill since it has become an Uptown hotspot, and the prices have gone out of control. It was possible to get a decent red wine for $22-25 per bottle, and that has gone up in some cases by double. The owners are definitely taking advantage of their current popularity, but as always in Houston, the crowd will move to the next hot spot especially if it gets too expensive. The owners are better advised to moderate their pricing from pre-boom to current market and offer a long term commitment to their customers so the customers will stay long term. Based on current events, I will not go back until things change. Mark

I usually come here right after work for happy hour. It's a great place to relax and unwind. Now that the weather has cooled off, I enjoy a some great wine outside on the patio. The patio is HUGE! The last time I went, I shared a delicious cheese plate and some wine with a friend. It was perfect. Even though I had a bad day a work, it all changed after I went to the tasting room.

I LOVE this place. It is a great, fresh place in the midst of Midtown. It's a great place to hang out and listen to some good music. It's a lounge, so it is very cozy and intimate. I recommend this place to anyone. This place might be a wine bar, but they have great beer AND it is very reasonable.
