Circle S Vineyards.
I read the negative review. Nonsense. Stacy David is a 4th generation vintner and it shows. Genius is often misread. What may seem like arrogance to some patrons, is a deep and insightful understanding into the very essence of wine. My wife and I and friends had a valentines dinner at Mr. David's establishment and I was so impressed by the delightful wine and Mr. Davids knowledge of the art that I bought a case. Nectar of the gods! You won't find better wine than this south of Napa. I have shared his wine with friends and everyone agrees. This is the good stuff. I need another case.

Really Great Experience!. My husband & I, my great stepson, his lovely girlfriend, my beautiful sister in law & her super hubby all had the utmost pleasure of meeting the awesome owners Dave & Helen Stacy of Circle S Wineries. We sample many different wines thanks to Helen! My favorite was the wonderful Zinfandel that had a deep rich coffee essence. During our tour, we learn about the family history and the process of their wines. We also meet a cute and very wise little red head (their granddaughter) who knew a lot about wines too! The experience was great we tell everyone we meet and love wines like us to visit Circle S wines they will be in for a spectacular experience! We will be back in January for my birthday!
Great Service, Great Wine, Great Experience.
I read the earlier comment about an "arrogant" owner, but I found the complete opposite to be true. Even while giving me directions over the phone, he was friendly and easy-going. The owners, both husband and wife, were incredibly nice and explained every question I had, which was especially nice since my fiancee and I are new to wine tasting.
If I were being nitpicky, I would have liked a little more "hand-holding," explaining a little more about the process and background of the grapes and wine because we are novices, but like I said, that is being nitpicky because the overall experience was fantastic.
If my fiancee and I continue to learn about wine, we will definitely continue to go there.
Great Community Citizen. In addition to being a great vineyard, the owners of Circle S are incredibly generous in the Fort Bend/Sugar Land community. I'm amazed at the other post--I have had contact with the owners of this vineyard repeatedly, and have found them to be very pleasant and always accomodating. If you're interested in checking out Circle S, don't let the other review deter you--I can assure you it is an exception to otherwise wonderful service.
Don't bother. Although the wine was OK, the proprietor of this operation is incredibly rude and arrogant. He insulted and berated our entire group. All he talked about was how wonderful he was and the inferiority of all others. We thought, what a treat to visit a winery within houston and prepared for the long journey, located in Sugarland. From the moment we walked in, we were made to feel uncomfortable. His superior attitude and large ego were in sharp contrast to the small samples. Nobody wants to pay to be insulted! Put your money towards a nice bottle of wine and don't waste it on this tasting. ( $7.00 per person )
