doorguys are a joke. I've never heard of this club and I would of never gone if I knew it was like the Drake and The Red door. I respect their rules and dont really care about partying at these type of places since I get alot of women. However, it was a thursday night and we had just had a blast a badass club down the road. So at about 1am I get a call from one of my girlfriends to meet her up there. So I head over to Bond and get there at 130am. As I approach the door guy I had no idea that he wanted 20 dollars to get in. Since I was alone I wouldnt of mind paying him but they were about to close in 30 minutes. So I started using big words and asking why should I pay him when theres only 30minutes left before closing. The door guy uttered an answer that was equivalent to that of a kindergardner.LOL This got fun after a while. So rather than leaving I kept throwing words that any college student in the club would have understand. It was so embarrasing because he couldnt speak properly and as I was leaving he even offered to give me a free drink and only wanted 10 dollars. There was no point of me getting in by this time since my girl was on her way out but I must admit. For a guy who has the looks, an education, and his finance's straight it does bother me that foreigner doorguy has the nerve to judge me as if I was at his level. I'm sure theres alot of guys out there like me who have been misjudged by these idiot doorguys so don't feel bad if its happened to you already. This is why they lose business and are always closing and changing names.
Good time. i've only been a couple of times but it was aight...got a friend that's a bouncer there, which always helps you get in. i do think they can be a little picky on people getting in but that's just the way it goes. doesn't seem like the most diverse crowd in the world, but it works. good lookin people, working and just there period. the dj was good, but you gotta like diversity cause they will go all over the place with the music. overall, i had a good time. it's not the crowd i'm used to but i can enjoy it...
they burned me. When BOND 1st opened years ago, I was there every week & continually bringing in my friends & trying to help support the place cause I thought it was a cool spot. My experiences there have varied. Many times I had a hard time getting in & the door guy expected me to pay him & I was in dress code & with ladies, he was basically being selective & for no reason. Other times they have told me that it was a private party & we all know that is a LOAD OF $#*^. Instead of them appreciating my business when they were struggling & trying to get their name out, they treated me as if I was just some random patron. If that wasn?t enough, I decided to host my Birthday Party there last year. I was told that I could have the entire stage because I had a large group & I guaranteed that I would buy a minimum of 5 bottles. About 1 hour into the night they gave half of my area away to another group & then when my friends came up they said there wasn?t enough room for my whole party. MAD & let down I decided to move my group to one of the side areas so we could all be together. Then I kept getting calls & text?s that they wouldn?t let my friends in. At this point we were already on our 8th bottle of Grey Goose!! Naturally by this time I was RALLY MAD. With the bottles along with the other drinks purchased we had already spent well over $1,000 & were continually being treated like $#*^. I had to go to the manager & ask him to let my people in which he did eventually do but with a lot of attitude & he acted like he was doing ME a favor. All in all, we ended up purchasing 14 bottles of Goose, 2 bottles of Crystal & an assortment of other stuff. Never once did anyone ever thank us for coming out, bringing so many people & spending so much MONEY!! More importantly, they never apologized for the way they treated us. While this used to be a place that I would suggest other people, I?ve never gone back since & when people as about BOND, I tell EVERYONE this story.
Place is okay, and Gino is the most obnoxious person in Houston. Frankly speaking this place doesnt even deserve my time to rate it. But I think that will be unfair to other people coming on this website. The place is a hi t or a miss. Sometimes it will have good crowd, sometimes it is almost empty and the bouncers act accordingly. They try to be hard if it is crowded. That being said Gino esp is the most obnoxious and the worst loser I have seen in life. The bottom line is that since the place is not always good and bouncers are overly obnoxious, why do you wanna waste your time and money at a place like this. Albeit Houston is not the most happening town, it still has some nice places. For hot chicks, try status or Pub fiction. Drake I have heard is a nice place too. But bond, even though I can tip Gino anytime I wanna go there and he will act like my pet, I just don't wanna waste my money on him or that place and the place is losing a lot of business because of people like him.
best place to meet hot hot women..... man this is the best place to meet women if you are single. i never seen so many hot ladies. yes, it is hard to get in. but i like it that way. keep the 10 to 20 guys that come in like a pack of wolf and dress like going to see a football game out. stay in downtown. love the music, the staff are hot and the experience was great. get there early if you dont want to wait in line.
BOND IS A JOKE. THIS PLACE IS A JOKE.. HORRIBLE SERVICE... THE DOOR GUYS ARE A JOKE.. THE GUY THAT LOOKS LIKE PRINCE HAS HIS NERVE TO JUDGE PEOPLE WHEN THEY COME TO THE DOOR.. THE ONLY WAY YOUR GETTING IN IS IF YOUR WHITE WITH BLONDE HAIR!!!!! THE CLUB IS VERY SMALL, THE MUSIC SUX, AND THE PEOPLE ARE A BIG FKN JOKE!!!! I WOULD NOT TAKE MY WORST ENEMY HERE IF MY LIFE DEPENDED ON IT!!!! CLUB XO AND CLUB SCENE OR SOO MUCH BETTER.. AND THEY HAVE BETTER SERVICE!!!!!
Don't go unless you're a good looking white person. I can't stand places like this. The people working the door were completely shady and rude, and were totally full of it! I went with a group with a ratio of 2 girls to 1 guy, but because our skin-color was dark, they didn't let us in. It has happened to similar groups as well. If you are out in the midtown area, this is one place to avoid, especially with other places that are much friendlier and offer better service are right across the street and many other places are within a mile going any direction.
No business charging money. This place stinks, outrageous drink prices, and a 5' 2", 95 pound door guy who thinks he is Leonitus. I scoffed at the cheap looking materials they used for construction. That picture looks nothing like the real thing.
SO MUCH FUN! GREAT STAFF ! GENO GOT ME AND MY GFS A BUNCH OF FREE DRINKS AND SHOTS !!. Im from NYC ,i come to houston alot .So FAR BONDlounge is the only club worth going to in Houston. I like the fact its TRENDY AND NO THUGS ARE ALLOWED UNLIKE other clubs in houston where ive seen huge fights happen infront of me super safe no worries about having dirty drunk men feeling u up ewwww .BOND lounge on the other hand has a great atmosphere , the bartenders are HOT!!!the waitresses even hotter one of them left to LA to be a playboy model they all look like playboy bunnies!!!!!...much better than clubs in houston. I have been there many times, and have always left having a really fun night. Another plus is the music...the DJs actually know what they are doing!
