Great Local Bar!. Kentucky's is great! You feel right at home as soon as you walk in and see the smiling faces behind the bar. It's not too big, not too small, and has a great ambiance with the dark wood and low lighting.

Not only do they have great drink specials, they have great food too. I tried my first crawfish at Kentucky's and it was awesome!

The owners aren't just looking to make a buck. They're really there to get to know you and make friends. It reminds me of "Cheers" where everybody knows your name!

Try it out!

I'm not easily pleased. Great everything. Drinks, food, ambiance. It was all there. I am so impressed. The bartender that night was amazing. I walked out spending very little. And that helps. During these tough economic times a great place for a great value comes in handy

Best burgers............YUM!. First off let me start by saying how much I love this place. The bartenders are super friendly and funny. Seth makes the best cocktails I've had. His Margarita on the Rocks is on delicious! There are a lot of regulars at Kentucky Club. I've made many friends there. So, I was super excited when they started selling my favorite food...........the hamburger. It's hard to find a GOOD burger. But, lucky for me, my search is over!!!! I've found the best burger at Kentucky Club. There are several other menu items. There 3 po'boys including the Serrano Po'Boy. I haven't had the Serrano personally, but my roommate is always recommending it to people. He loves it. The next time you're thirsty and hungry you should stop by Kentucky and get one of "momma's" burgers!!!!

The Crawfish are Phenomenal. As Houstonians, one would think that with all the Cajun restaurants in town one would have plenty of good choices to choose from for crawfish. Quite the contrary, however. After complaining to a friend one evening how there wasn't one place in town that served decent crawfish she mentioned that I might try The Kentucky Club. Yeah right, I thought. What could they possibly know about crawfish that the cajun restaurants didn't. Kentucky, whatever! Naturally I dismissed her referral and said "What does she know about crawfish? I'm a connoisseur of sorts" A few months passed when another friend told me that he found this great neighborhood bar that served cheap drinks, served food till 2a.m. and had some of the best crawfish he'd ever had. Again the name The Kentucky Club was mentioned. A few weeks later as I was going down Fountainview I saw the little sign on the shopping strip sign post. "What the hell, I'll give it a try", I skeptically said under my breath. Let me tell you, the crawfish wasn't good and it wasn't very good, THE CRAWFISH WERE PHENOMENAL THEY WERE THE BEST I'VE EVER HAD. I was beside myself with excitement that I had finally found a place in Houston that had great crawfish. The cooking of the mudbugs were perfect, and the spice mix they use( one of the bartenders secret recipes) was out of this world. I cant explain how to describe the spice mix other than perfectly cajun and hot, but not ridiculous. I called both my friends and thanked them. One of them suggested I go to CitySearch and write a review since I felt that way about it and I did. I'm not a big drinker but they do have all my favorite draft beers and at a reasonable price. On a scale of 1 to 10. I give the crawfish and the nicest owner you'll probably ever meet, a lady everybody calls Mama, a perfect score of 100. Try the place you won't regret it.

The Place for Happy Hour-New Bartender Included. The Kentucky Club is tucked away, a well kept secret if you will. But once discovered, you'll want to come back again and again...if not for the great Happy Hour Specials (M-F, 3pm-8pm) then to say "Hello" to the hot new bartender IN THE HOUSE. Did I mention service with a smile? Cozy, Classy & Cool. Enough said!

Great local bar in Houston!!!. The owner's are very nice and personable and call you by name everytime they see you walk through the door. The atmosphere is condusive for meeting new friends or old friends. The bartenders are outgoing and the drinks are great and not over-priced. If you're looking for a place to cool your heels and drink a cold one, then this is the place!

Best Bar in Houston. The galleria area was in dire need of a great after work bar to watch a game, have a good drink, and be surrounded by some nice people. Finally, I found it. Free parking, TVs, dartboards, pool table, great jukebox, drinks not expensive, cushy secluded booths... Tall ceilings make it not nearly as smokey as some other bars in the neighborhood. Definitely something for everybody.

Upscale lounge where martinis and sports are the name of the game.. In Short
This upscale club sets the right atmosphere for its trendy young clientele. Comfortable suede chairs and couches set the scene for date night conversation while the thumping techno music suits those with partying on their minds. Check out the notably large martini menu while watching one of the more than 60 TVs scattered throughout. Happy hour (till 8pm on weeknights and 9pm on weekends) features dollar off drinks. The kitchen serves above-average bar fare.
