Darla Magee, a licensed Bikram instructor, leads participants through 90-minute sessions of heated-room hatha yoga, called Bikram. The classes are designed to tone and strengthen muscles, prevent and heal injuries and reverse aging. At Hot Yoga Here, positive attitude and offering and acceptance of loving energy are highly encouraged. The studio itself is a comfortable and inviting place to get a solid workout, both physically and spiritually.

This is the best yoga class I've been to anywhere. And I've tried yoga everywhere in Houston and out of Houston. Nothing compares. Darla Magee is the best intructor you could ask for. She's not afraid to tell anyone they are doing something wrong, and she does it with such grace so that you feel great about your yoga and are able to grow in your practice. She gets maximum effort from all her student with her fun-loving personality - truly caring and loving and tons of fun. She works with beginner students and advanced students in the same class, which most instructors are not able to do so successfully. And there are no two classes exactly the same, which gives the best results for total body improvement. The results from working hard in her classes are amazing. My body feels so great after her classes. The more hot yoga with Darla I do, the hotter my body looks and feels. I have never been healthier or stronger. You are not practicing yoga if you're not practicing yoga with Darla.

At first the heat was a struggle (or may it was my spare tire??) But in short order, I found that I could do all those things that had looked impossible on day one. Hot yoga is the best....no, Hot Yoga Here is the best. I tried a couple other places, just to make sure! But nothing compares to the feeling of safety and caring that Darla creates. She helped me move forward but giving me the confidence to remove all those mental barriers that limited my physical movement. I always thought that if I felt a lot of heat, it meant that I missed paradise and was off with the Devil. But I found myself instead in Paradise with an Angel.
