CHICKEN FRIED STEAK TO DIE FOR!

If you want the best Homestyle Country Cooking in Texas this is the place to visit! Having heard about the Ranch Hand for several years, but had not visited it since it was only opened on weekdays, I was glad to hear it was now opened on Saturdays. We drove over an hour to visit the place.
It did not dissapoint! Helpings have to be seen to be believed (make sure to check out what other people are getting - it was half the fun seeing the hugh plates of food). The chicken fried steak was to die for!
It was so good we are going back this Saturday with some friends. Yes, we are driving over an hour again to eat here....something me and my husband have NEVER done. In fact, we are going here for Valentines instead of our usual trip to Perry's Steak House :)
This place is truly one of those "hole in wall" country restaurants that is a true diamond!
- Pros: AWESOME FOOD, GREAT PRICES, HUGH PORTIONS
- Cons: BUILDING DOESN'T LOOK LIKE MUCH
