In Short – With ample seating and plenty of corners for casual conversation or a moment of solitude, most patrons of this Westside-area coffee bar choose to settle in and relax rather than grab their coffee on the run. In addition to a mostly standard drink menu, be sure to indulge in homemade cannoli, tiramisu, or fresh grilled pannini and calzone made daily. Coffee is served up in giant ceramic mugs and beckons slow savoring of every sip. –

I tried setting up a blind date at this place, and the building is for rent and closed. :( I was really hoping to go, because it has so many good reviews.
- Pros: Good reviews
- Cons: No longer open
Farwell to the BEST coffee shop in the Galleria area! :(
by jemmsg1 at Citysearch
Well, it's been a little over two years since I've had the pleasure of frequenting this FANTASTIC coffee shop/Italian cafe. Today (9/3/07) marks a new day in its history.....no longer a coffee shop, but a (not so much needed) restaurant! Gone are the days of perching at a table to study, log online or sip coffee.
Sooo sad to see you go!!! We need another coffee shop in this area! One that is grad student friendly with the same welcoming staff personnel would be preferred.
Cheers to the last day!
- Pros: Fantastic waitstaff, knowledgeable baristas

I'm hooked on this place. The service is great, the atomosphere cozy and relaxing. It's the perfect place to read a book and sip a chai latte. Clair makes the best Chai Latte in town and she has a great personality as well. The staff are all friendly and you feel like family when you are there. Oh yeah and they provide FREE wifi so its great for people like me who run an internet marketing company.
Check it out and tell Clair Amir Send you so maybe I'll get a free chai next time I go.
