In Short – A festive atmosphere and heaping plates of the Carrabba's signature American-Italian classics draw a steady crowd of diners. Menu highlights include the signature asparagus appetizer, lightly breaded and pan-fried, topped with crab and lemon butter. Sample healthy grilled meats, baked sea bass with mango and avocado salsa, multi-layered lasagna Carrabba, stuffed shrimp and a variety of pizzas. Reasonably priced wine selections.
A++ for food and service B- on dish presentation

I went to this restaurant a few years ago when they first opened. It was my birthday and two of my friends took me out. We ordered the asparagus with crab meat as an appetizer. I ordered the pork tenderloin and my two friends ordered various pasta dishes. We received great service from the minute we walked in the door.
The last time I went to visit was on a date. Once again i tried to the asparagus with crab meat and then i had a medium rare ribeye. My date ordered pork chops. Although the dish presentations could have been much better we once again received great service.
Now, i'm really weird when it comes to restaurants. Their food can be good or even great but if their bathrooms have a strange odor or dirty feeling then i wont eat there anymore. I figure, if their bathrooms are dirty and people go in there at max a rate of 4 times during a meal then their kitchen has to be clean, considering no one aside from staff is allowed in there. I am in the culinary field myself so it is very important to have a culmination of great food, service and atmosphere.
As far as my cons, the restaurant doesnt offer a "booth" option so your date may feel a little impersonal - as though the guy next to you is eaves dropping..
All in all. This is my favorite italian restaurant by far in the Westchase area.
- Pros: great atmosphere, clean, speedy service
- Cons: not very much "personal space"

My friend & I decided to try Piatto for the first time tonight. My friend had the Pasta Vento with a water & I had the Mezzaluna with an iced tea. We split the tiramisu for dessert. Our bill was about $42. My friend really liked the Pasta Vento; I thought the Mezzaluna was good but I was not in love with it. Mine was a little too heavy and I could not finish even half of my plate. The complimentary thinly sliced bread with herb butter was very good, especially the herb butter! The tiramisu was very good as well but not the best I've ever had. Service was good. Good restaurant but nothing too special. I think there are better Italian restaurants in Houston. I'd rate the entire experience a 7.5 out of 10.

So glad that Piatto is now also on the West side of town. Great Food - Great Service - Great Management. I have been there more than once and never disappointed. Finally got around to ordering the Lobster Ravioli and it was delicious. Lucky for me I saved a little room for a few bites of the bread pudding dessert! I'll be back . . . .. . .
- Pros: Great Food - Reasonable Prices
- Cons: None
