Quality Work and Great Staff – Shocked by the last review! I was told that this was one of the best place to get your nails in town and I wasn't disappointed. Decided to get gels on my nails and it is amazing! Over 2 weeks and not a chip other than the fact that you can start seeing the new growth. My pedicure was very thorough and painless. The techs were very gentle. Great thing is they all speak English and very professional. Already made my next appointment. You do need to tell them in advance if you want gels so they can book enough time.
isle pedi spa – Save your money! Go somewhere else. This is nothing special. We were rushed, the pedicures/manicures were not good. The "massage" lasted only seconds, the chairs are not comfortable, and though I had mentioned wanting a gel when booking two manicures and two pedicures, they could not accomodate. Everything we asked about "would take an hour". We had booked an hour!
What a waste of time and money. I surely won't go back.
Fantastic! – This is the ONLY place I go for pedicures! The staff is very friendly, everything is clean, and they use OPI, which I love. The only thing that isn't great is that they usually run 10-15 minutes late with appointments....this may not be a big deal for you, unless you are on your lunch break, which i usually am!
Overall, this place is excellent. Definitely a good value... my pedicures last at least 3 weeks!
MY HOME AWAY FROM HOME! – I absolutely love this place, there couldn't be anything better out there. It's a place where I can actually breathe in, it smells nothing like those icky nail products. There are so many lovely choices, the pedicures, the manicures, the drinks, the nail colors. The girls were so nice and the pedicures are absolutely fantastic. I said I'd write a review if my polish on my toes lasted for more than a week and here I am, it's been 3 weeks and it still looks like I just walked out of there. I was really expecting another typical place, like where the girl wouldn't listen to me and just nod and smile, but I was really surprise when they all understood what I wanted and expressed their knowledge of everything. AMAZING! There is truly no other place like this one. Everyone should try it!
NOT WORTH IT!!! – I recently tried Isle Pedispa as an alternative to my normal place and I thought it'd be nice to try the pedispa experience...wish I wouldn't have. It's not that the place was terrible...it wasn't, it just wasn't worth the price at all.
I got the cucumber pedicure which I was told was good for calluses, but honestly my feet didn't feel any different and it cost $58!!! I can't believe I spent that much on a pedicure that was no different than my $20 norm!
Also, being a physician, I'm very particular about how a nail salon sanitizes their equipment. Isle does autoclave their tools (which is a must) but they do not use plastic liners in their tubs. This is enough to make me never go back again.
Not bad, just be prepared to shell out the dough and feel guilty about it later.
FABULOUS EXPERIENCE! – I LOVE this place! Had my first mani/pedi here recently. CLEAN, GREAT customer services and LOVELY nails. Highly recommend it!
Great manicure pedicure. – I like the variety of nail services offered here. Plenty of availability on short notice. Usually you can specify who you would like, but all are good technicians. Can't go wrong with anyone at Isle pedispa.
The best nail salon – I love this place. They are the best. My manicures and pedicures last longer than any other place I have been too. They are super clean. I usually request Emma, she is the best!
Fabulous Pedicures!!!!! – I have been going to Isle PediSpa for years and I love ALL the girls and Chris. Everything is sanitized and sterilized and they really pay attention to detail. I love going and getting a different pedicure everytime. All the amenities they offer make the experience even better. You honestly can't find a better place than Isle PediSpa.
I started going here when it first opened (3 years ago?). Back then, I recommended IPS every chance I got because it was such a treat - relaxing, great customer service, awesome selection of pedicures. Now, however, I hesitate to recommend it to anyone because the last few times I've gone I've left feeling a bit fleeced. Maybe my expectation of what a $68 pedicure experience should be is unrealistic, but I should at least feel like I had a nice, relaxing hour (hour-ish, really) instead of feeling rushed and tense ( I had to contort my body in the booth in order to have a manicure and pedicure at the same time). I never know the name of my technician because she seems way too busy to bother with that detail. I've taken my daughter and her friends there several times for princess pedi and manis, but I probably won't again because the last time I found out afterwards that the technician basically manhandled my daughter throughout the entire session and was flat out rude to her. I miss the old days!!
