Victor is a great salesperson

I bought a refrigerator from the Sugar Land Conn's. I knew of the problems Conn's had previously regarding their service and extended warranty. I figured it wouldn't be a problem, I just wouldn't buy the extended warranty. I bought the refrigerator, had it delivered and it didn't work. I ended up dealing with the Conn's service department for approximately a month without results. I finally called my sales consultant Victor and explained my situation. He was right on it! He asked why I hadn't called earlier. He had a new refrigerator delivered to my house within two days. Not only did he have it delivered but he followed up to make sure it was delivered and that I was happy with it. I am not sold on Conn's, but I am sold on Victor. I will continue buying appliances from him as long as he is with Conn's because I know he will take care of me. Conn's service hasn't improved, but their selection in sale staff has. I would recommend Victor at the Sugar Land location to anyone who wants excellent customer service.

Best Buy has way more choices and will also do a price match guarantee. Walk into Conn's and immediately get swarmed by every employee in the store. Try to walk out, and they will literally try to force you into buying something before you leave. If you like spending hundreds of dollars on impulse without having a chance to think about what features and styles you like, then go ahead and shop here. The employees are also rude and condescending.

Ripped Off

I purchased an A/C unit at Conn's and paid for their delivery and some ridiculous charge called, "airwall.carp." This fee was $99.00 by itself. It some kind of fee if they had to modify or enlarge your A/C wall. It's a fee to get over you
